Edit: Trif was able to know rulings for a Summoning Mechanic while the others only know the rulings for the deck they are playing. a 5/8 is well deserved imo.

Trif is really “wholesome” until you watch him post a video HE recorded of HIMSELF sexually assaulting a woman on an airplane, once while she was awake and another time while she was sleeping. It would be great to like him, as I love pendulum decks, but it’s not possible after that for me, personally.

To be fair, Trif got some of the harder ruling questions. Pendelums are weird.

@@jadegrace1312 not really the gamma question is very specific and has nothing to do with the effects of the cards. Same with the token question and returning to extra deck question.
@@AZI-zh9fg The gamma question was easy, it says "special summon both this card and 1 "psy-frame driver," you can't do that, therefore you can just its effect

Trif on question 4 actually answered 2 the first time... - So he was correct there , really but reading and self-doubt reduced to it to 1.
Trif had the toughest rulings questions, as most of these never come up.

If you equip a pendulum monster to an effect monster, lets say you equip a scale 1 to Relinquished, and you place it in the left pendulum zone and also you have a scale 5 pend in the right zone, can you actually pendulum summon using the equiped monster as a scale since it is in the pendulum zone?
No ya cannot because Relinquished equips the targeted monster as a spell card. Ya need to hard activate a Pendulum monster from the hand into one of either the leftmost or rightmost zones for it to be considered as an active Pendulum scale
nah you need to manually place the monster in the Pendulum Zone from your hand or via a card effect that would treat it as a Pendulum Monster
But that would have been very funny to be able do so with cards like Union Carrier tho
No, because that card would be treated as an Equip Spell Card, not a Pendulum Scale.

Just saying these questions are a lot harder than the Orcust ones, the hardest Orcust question was an attack modifier but Trif needed to know the intricate ruling on Spell Counter specific cards, PSCT to know that the "also" conjunction is godly and knowledge of the mechanics of the Pendulum Summon (something most player of YuGiOh don't even know how to perform)

On the reflection question: reflection uses the “and” conjunction. So if you can’t do both you do neither. So if you can’t. Bounce the jackal you don’t bounce your opponents card.
That was what I thought too, but weirdly enough, the OCG rulings state that you don't need to return both.

If it said "both" (like Escape of the Unchained) then Disaster wouldn't be bounced. When it has "and", "them" or "those targets" it resolves as much as possible. "And" is used here like "also" (at least it was written "also" in some OCG translations) but i believe they would use "and if you do" if they wanted to word it as you believe.
Still it's such BS, they should stick to 1 use of the key words so we dont get that confusion. A lot of people talk about dmg step but imagine the wormhole that "it"/"that target"/"those targets"/"them"/"all of them"/"them" is.
@@babrad "Both" allows you to not have to bounce the two targets.
Thanks for saying this, it was my exact thought. The only possible explanation is a mistranslation, because by the psct wording in the card the bounce should not be happening at all.

The Master Cerberus vs. Apollousa ruling needs some clarification. Apollousa's effect changes its original ATK, so Master Cerberus should gain it. The only explanation I can think of is Master Cerberus' effect checking the original ATK after Apollousa is banished, but it's an "and if you do" effect, meaning it happens simultaneously, so that doesn't really make much sense.
It's the same reason why if you Dragoon pop a token, opp won't take any damage. If it doesn't have original attack in its new location then original attack is basically 0. It's important to note that "and if you do" does NOT mean it's simultaneous. Think about it... you have to do the first part before in order to check if you "did" it.

Yes, it does say "banished monster's original ATK", which does mean it checks the original ATK in the banish pile, not on the field. That's why it's +0 ATK.
Apollousa has a question mark so it’s considered at Zero for original Atk

reason why, is because the Summon is not successful but thing about it like 4 portals that were taking up space. since there are 2 extra spaces for portals, you cannot do it

That last ruling was pretty clear to me. If you could Gamma, there would be no way to resolve the summon in a non-awkward way (like "going back and changing how many monsters you summon" awkward).
I know it was for the question but knowing the opponent had Laggia and I had gamma I wouldn’t had tried to summon 4 but 3 cause it was obvious the Dino player would had negate it. Triff really messed up on that one
