Years ago I saw a documentary about a ship that sank in the Mediterranean sea around 1500 BCE fully loaded, on board ingots of copper in a shape that matched odd shaped forms on many large boulders along the Mississippi river that they thought were used for rituals, showing signs of burning and the fact that much copper around the Great Lakes is missing and can not be accounted for. Look up the 6th great tribe, they wear known as the Occoneechi or Akenatzy, they were the middle men in trade with the Europeans, no trade could be done but in their language among the other tribes which only the chiefs and shaman spoke, their language is compared to Latin, they had what you call a Great Mother, her and the women selected the chief, this title was passed down to the daughter.
My 3rd Great grandmother Occoneechee Forbes was sold for 3 bags of salt during the war of 1812 when she was 7. Along the 700 mile Occoneechi trail was the Forbes trading company, Is one of the Forbes the father or did the Forbes trading company sale slaves, but anyway this how I came upon this story. Search Akenatzy and it takes you to a the a Jewish tribe. LOL
