I knew many of these but I had no idea about the camouflage option with Photos. It's crazy how well that works.

So the Jan update has done wonders for my P7P battery life. Now get 6-7 hrs SOT easily (on accubattery) and left with 20-30% by bedtime.

Thank you very much for the nice review! I have a question concerning the video. I saved it as H.265 and then sent it to someone via Whatsapp. This became a very yellowish video. Now I turned this off and then it is ok. HDR also uses H.265. Did you encounter similar issues? And, I did not find a way to compress video on the Pixel 7. Did I miss something here?

If you mean At-A-Glance (the thing in the top left corner), then tap and hold on it. Customize button pops up. Tap gear next to At A Glance. Scroll all the way down and tap "See more features", then toggle Weather off.

I am currently using iPhone 13 pro, but I’m thinking about trying a Google pixel 7 or 7 pro, but can you tell me how the camera bar is holding up to scratches cause people been saying it crashes easily
I've kept mine in the Google case and it have got one scratch on it . And being a polished metals surface , scratches could be polished out easily anyway .
As for crashes , it's mostly fixed ... Just the occasional lag when using the camera . Hope that helps .😁👍

Would you recommend leaving your Pixel on the "recommended" network on 5g or switch to LTE? I use 5g for downloading or streaming content but mostly I leave it on LTE

I appreciate your time. I do have question for you. The phone working perfectly except for the photo album. It looks it tooks ages to load every time and not to smooth to jump between the pictures. Is there a way to get it fix??

No, unless you use a third party launcher or get an app called screen off widget from the play store, and you can use that without a launcher.

POOR WHITE COLOUR BALANCE STILL?
What is the white colour balance like. If its still the dull yellowy green colour from the P6 P6a and P7, then there's no way I'd want to use it for viewing and editing photos and videos, and no way I'd use it for watching movies and music videos either.

Hey Mark - I'm struggling to figure out how to cast my pixel 7 pro screen to my TV (which does not have a chromecast). Any help/hack would be appreciated. Wonder why this basic feature was left out of this flagship phone.
if your TV has smart capabilities, you should automatically see your TV listed under the cast option while watching videos. if not, try looking under the TV settings. It works for me without any issue, so try digging around your TV settings

the s22 ultra is still a beast!! one of my favorite phones of 2022. it honestly holds up so good :) I would recommend waiting for the s23 since its literally right around the corner :)
