Tbh I think it would be better for you to block out the names of the people who didn't submit the clips themselves. Some people don't want to be in the videos and like it or not this is still somewhat making fun of other people's mistakes albeit in a comedic way. Sure people do find it funny, but its likely that not everyone in these videos(who is the subject of the joke) is okay with being displayed in such a light. Also gonna add that its most probable that the people messing up are not the ones who submitted the clip themselves, so this cant just be taken as self deprecating humour. Its really as simple as blocking out the names to avoid making a connection between the unconsenting player and the joke.
Although I do understand where you are coming from, I have put in the terms when submitting the clip through google form to censor the names by the clippers, because I have one incident where I accidentally censor the clipper name and they didn't like what I did, most of them have different in game name than their credit name. I do try to reply to them and asked, but most of them don't reply back, so that's why I put the term in the form to ask the clipper to censor the names, or specifically asked which one that you wanted to censor, so you have seen some of them are personally censored by the clipper or few are censored by me, but I will need to make sure if the clipper ask for it, so I don't accidentally censor the wrong names.
This is just my opinion, but I think making light of moments where players get terrorshocked, pallet-stunned, hit by the tram, and other such goofs helps ease the pain of losing. Yeah, it may not always be fun in the moment, but it can be nice to look back on our failures with humor rather than spite. I’d be embarrassed if one of my many goofs made an appearance in one of these videos, sure, but I'd ultimately be able to laugh it off because of the funny audio edits, or just seeing others make similar mistakes. At the end of the day, IDV is a game, and games are meant to be fun, regardless if you do well or not.

For example, i recognize a name in this video and this person has never submitted a clip nor consented to the clip being submitted. I do not mean to offend, but if there is a policy in place, but it is only being applied some of the time then it is barely a rule. Would it not be better to publish only the clips that you can confirm have been censored in accordance to your own guidelines? I understand that this increases your workload, but many people do see these videos and it’s not fully respectful of people’s privacy for their usernames to be just out there without them agreeing to it.
I really hope I don’t come off as offensive or condescending, I’m just trying to understand. If you don’t wish to reply or change anything l, that’s alright too.

I'm in the trenches in postmatch sometimes trying to defend my teammates flops, if theres even the slightest possibility of negative behaviour I'd 100% be there ready to support, even on the hunters side too. Because its easy for frustrated players to forget that everyone else is also human. I defo agree people should be less serious when it comes to winning or losing in idv too!
