making art as a carefree non judgemental child is such an incredible feeling and experience we'll never get back in our lives. It must be so nice to cherish that time in your child's life. As an adult artist, where critiques and edits from professionals are part of the money-making process, it's hard not to be critical of yourself as an artist when you work. This really took me back, and reminded me to enjoy the process and the fun of creating something that didn't exist before without me.
I only paint as a hobby, not for anyone to see or for money, but to me, it's still impossible not to judge myself even before I started painting. So I sit there, look at the blank paper/ canvas and can't stop thinking that it just won't look as good as I want it to. A lot of the time I don't even start sadly. I wish I could just sit down, do whatever and not care at all about how accurate it is to what I have in my head
@@melinaalba63 I know how you feel, I've been going through the exact same thing 😭 but I try to push myself through it and draw anyway, I realized that not drawing because I think it'll be bad is a self fulfilling prophecy. Every artist you look up to started out bad, but they kept drawing and learned from their mistakes. If you let your fear stop you from drawing then you're holding yourself back, blocking yourself from reaching your full potential. If leonardo da vinci didn't draw he would have never made the Mona Lisa. You just have to remember to have fun, and don't compare yourself. art is supposed to be enjoyable, and when you let go of your perfectionism, everything feels so much better. I believe on myself, and I believe in you. Anyone can learn if they don't give up before they reach their peak. (Sorry for so much yapping, I just really like art)
So easy to forget Jazza is indeed a father, And OMG his little girl is such a character! I want this to be series so much him bonding over art with his daughter is the most adorable thing ever!
You’re such a great artist Jazza, but more importantly an outstanding father. You can tell with their openness to creativity, you always support and encourage them in every way but especially building confidence in their abilities.
I really love how respectful Jazza is of his kids' interests and likes, whether he can share in them or not. It was lovely how seriously he treated their visions and tried his best to do justice to them. Loved it!! And as an aunt who already finds it challenging to be able to play with the little boys in her life ("oh sure, let's play with your trucks again! How about they have a conversation? No? They're gonna push each other off the cliff? Ok, yeah, sure... But you gotta show me how to play that... Oh, a big explosion, sure, um, boom!"), i really appreciate and admire fathers who get into playing unicorns, rainbows, and teaparties with their daughters. I realise it doesn't necessarily come very easily. 🥰
I love Cursive! It's such a cool character design. It also feels kinda sweet and nostalgic since Jazza used to mostly draw dark things & original characters as a kid- I guess it stays in the family 😂❤
I’ve been here since before MJ was born. This video was so good and wholesome. Your kids are incredible. ETA: B is so sweet and innocent. MJ is so creative.
Ah, so Cursive is a Neutral route encounter. Clearly you can't meet him in the peaceful route. That's why it's incorrect for Frisk's LVL to be 1. I want to make a joke about Jazza flexing on his kids but really if you could draw something and have your dad make it like you envisioned it, that would be an epic childhood dream.
I love B's pure joy in the colours themselves and the internal logic of her world, and in the end she really balanced her piece astonishingly well. And MJ's pure creative freedom and a light hand in brainstorming and having fun with the process are inspiring.
I can’t believe how big your kids have gotten. I remember when you presented MJ as just a tiny baby being raised up while the Lion King theme plays. They’re both beautiful and clearly they adore you.
I am absolutely LIVING for Cursive’s creation! I would love to see more pixel art and Undertale inspired artwork. Two incredibly different but extraordinary pieces of artwork for sure!
I honestly love the idea of literally letting out your inner child by taking inspiration from your kids art! It would be SO cool if you did a video with your kids of decorating their room together, maybe a cool mural or upcycle something together! I feel like you’d have such a fun video!!
This is beautiful. You shining a light on your kids creativity & growing with them in itself is a masterpiece. You’re so wholesome in staying true to your raw-self and also staying true to your kids reactions. Love it!
Omg it feels so weird to be this early. This is adorable how you encourage them to make art. I also like how you didn't say you were improving their art or making it better, but that they inspired you to make your own.
The very best part of raising kids, spending time with them doing something you all enjoy. If I could relive a single day for eternity it would be a day like this with my wife and daughter. The day we built and customized her first PC springs to mind, purple with black and purple butterflies and LED dragonflies looped around the inside of the case. She still refuses to get a new case 10 years later. Awesome video Jazza!
Aahhhhhh Jazza, you're such a great father! I just can't stop smiling when I see you interacting with your children It's just too cute ❤ Keep being that great papa, because you are already a true legendary artist
As someone who grew up with a distant father figure, seeing this almost made me tear up, your kids are such blessings and you look like a good father, glad they can make memories with you through art
I really love this concept! I can only imagine the enourmous amounts of video's with you re-doing childrens art if this one turns out to be a great success. I think it's worthy of great success. Hopefully the YT gods are not letting us down. Cuz there's a whole community here with endless artworks by either themselves or their kids that would love to see them done by Jazza ☺
This is such a good video for all of us . It’s cute what Jazza decided to do video kinda this with his kids , also when I saw something about undertale on channels like this it’s was cool!
This was a really nice video. So sweet to be inspired by the art of your kids. The unicorn was my favourite part of the B inspired painting. I also found the layering effect created by the glass really cool. And the entirety of the pixel art was really cool.
I would love to see more wet-on-wet landscapes with awesome fantasy and sci-fi settings. It felt like watching if Bob Ross was painting a backdrop for Star Trek (until the unicorn came in anyway).
I love these 😊 I have two nieces one less than a month old and the other 4 years old. I love getting the art kits for my niece. This is what a real dad looks like. He takes time to spend with his kids, even figures out how to incorporate work with them if necessary just to do so. This was so heartwarming ❤ Suggestion on the rainbow… As rainbows are very faint in the sky, perhaps, if you try it again, you could think down the paint with paint thinner then blend it over the original background colors. I think that would give more of the illusion of a real rainbow. 😊
