What a shame about the crocodiles 😭 Love the video though - I look forward to them every week and this looks like an amazing place! It's great to see you visiting somewhere different to the usual places 😊
The smell of sulfur may put people off, but they are believed to be good for high blood pressure. Bath drawn with water that is rich in carbonates is said to be good for skin conditions. The cumulative effective of soaking in various baths, one another the other can be an unforgettable experience.
Thanks for this video, I really enjoyed, and it gave a good preview of the area. I will avoid the crocodile one, your video showed everything I had to know about that place, and I don't feel I want to support that either!
I avoid any zoos in Japan now - I'm sure they're not all bad but I don't want to support anything like that. The rest of the day was fantastic though - amazing places to visit and unbelievable that all those hot springs are natural!
The cover for the geyser is disappointing. I’ve been to the Old Faithful geyser in Yellowstone National Park and the height of the water was incredible! Really makes you appreciate the strength of nature
Cakes with Faces, Cool! I never get a reply but I was lucky and found this fast. 'All the best stuff' is tied for my favourite youtube content, I wish good fortune... so you can make more :)
Cakes with Faces, my other favorite is the cup noodle factory. Pretty good, the funny thing is you are actually in a factory right? I like your guys fancy decorative cups.
At these ones, the water temperature's about 100°C (boiling point) so it'd be very dangerous to bathe in them!! :-) These are for looking at, but there are many hot springs all around Japan for bathing in.
I felt very similar when I visited an Owl Cafe in Harajuku 😕 I thought it would be a bit of light-hearted fun but was greeted by 10 or so owls chained to fake trees in a basement under bright artificial lights 😔 Very sad. I felt so guilty for giving them money; I deleted all my photos from my camera. Love the culture and country but animal cruelty is definitely more prominent than in the UK.
I've been tempted to go to a hedgehog cafe as they're so cute, but I've heard some not so great things about some of the animal cafes. I'm sure they're not all bad but do the animals really want to be picked up by so many different people all day? The attitude to animal welfare must be part of the culture unfortunately, but it's hard to understand, particularly when respect and thinking of others is such an important in Japan.
I went on a day trip from Fukuoka on the train! Each hell is quite small so you can get round them quickly if you need to, or spend a more leisurely time!
@@princess96699 I'd get a combined ticket, start with the hells you definitely want to see, work your way round them in the time you have and see how you go. Five hells are close together in the Kannawa district, then you have to get a bus to see the others. I always forget that it's more important to enjoy the experience and have a good time than see EVERYTHING! :-)
:) You seem to like those fruit sandwiches. I feel like I've seen you eat those before in other videos. :P I would love to try one sometime. Looks fun and delicious.
Overall looks like a great place to visit, but yeah the crocodiles didn't look too happy. I hope it didn't put too much of a downer on your day. One bad thing about Japan is their treatment of certain animals, especially the Whales and Dolphins. Makes me sad. Good video as always though.
Yes I try and avoid zoos etc in Japan as I haven't heard great things about animal welfare standards (also why I don't go to cat/rabbit cafes, etc). I'm sure they're not all bad but I don't want to support that. Otherwise it was an amazing place to visit!
This lady seems sweet , always with a smile plastered on her pretty face. And the way she shushes in the train , aware and mindful of other’s culture
Aww thank you for the kind words, that's very sweet of you! 💕 ✨
You are very engaging, sweet and interesting. Love your content!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!!
HELL of a video. Thanks for all the effort you put into it.
Haha thank you!! (@^◡^)
Great vid, very interesting, croc hell was upsetting.
Thanks, it was so interesting to see the hells and know they're all natural! I wish there was more care taken over animal welfare.
What a shame about the crocodiles 😭 Love the video though - I look forward to them every week and this looks like an amazing place! It's great to see you visiting somewhere different to the usual places 😊
Stacey I watch a lot of Japan videos too so I try and make mine different! They take aaaages to edit so I’m really happy you enjoy them!
Pirarucu is an arapaima from the Amazon

Yes! However the pools in this video are about 100°C so you wouldn't want to take a bath in these ones!! :-)
Really enjoyed your vlog and loved the look of your hair and that mmmm. Strawberry sandwich 🥪 😋😋😋😋😋
Thanks! Gotta love Japanese fruit sandwiches - the fruit cocktail ones are good too!

Yes I wished it was free without a roof too! I'd love to visit Yellowstone one day 😊
Thanks for the great videos!
Jeff Hatzel Thanks, so glad you enjoy them! 😊

Aww thank you! What's your other fav?
Cakes with Faces, my other favorite is the cup noodle factory. Pretty good, the funny thing is you are actually in a factory right? I like your guys fancy decorative cups.
It was so much fun! And the noodles tasted pretty good too!
Are you allowed to bathe in them or are those hot springs more of an attraction? Thats always been a thing that confuses me

@@cakeswithfaces I guess the name just sounds cool the hells of Japan. It's where my favorite bath salts come from and where I'll be going to college
@@Dead_Rogue It does sound cool! There are onsen there that you can bathe in too, just not the ones in the video!
0:55 That fold-out table is AMAZING. Did you get the seventh stamp? :P
Yes! Japanese trains are fantastic, that one was so comfortable! No, I forgot to get the last one, gah!! I'll have to go back now...
Nice video!
Thank you~♪
naoyama JE Thanks, so glad you enjoyed it! 😊

If that is he'll sign me up I want to go. Also what camera are you using?
john calvetti Who knew hell was so beautiful??! It’s a Canon EOS 70D.
How long did u spend there? I am planning to go there and have limited time.
I went on a day trip from Fukuoka on the train! Each hell is quite small so you can get round them quickly if you need to, or spend a more leisurely time!
@@cakeswithfaces will 15 min be enough for each hell? Thanks

I love them! There are several different types (maybe seasonal?) - every one I’ve had has been delicious! 😋
I saw it in the Detective Conan anime series, then youtubed it and ended up here.
Ah I didn't know it was featured in Detective Conan! So much anime I haven't seen...! :-)
Don't burn events are you criezy

Not surprised about the crocodiles. Japan isn't great about treating animals very well...
Yes I'd heard that too. Makes me want to avoid going to zoos so I'm not supporting them - and animal cafes too.
Don't worry about the tour group. Your hair is far louder.
