this game is great but I adore it the most at 2, it becomes more cutthroat and push your luck/game of chicken-y... trying to get as much done before yoinking the monument.
I enjoy playing this game, but I agree with another commenter that it’s best 2 player (or solo). It’s not a very social game and fell flat with my game group. It requires a surprising amount of thought, which was represented in this play-through…far less chatty than usual. One can expect moments of dead silence when this hits the table. Still, I have fun with it and absolutely love the production.
I think I agree with you. Because the other thing that can happen more often with 4 players is that you can just luck into a wonder. That's what happened to me this time, and it can be frustrating for the other players who kinda can't really do anything about it.
There's a minor expansion coming out with 9 more wonders! This was a fun watch, now I kind of want to play this game!
Oh my gosh. As a Patchwork fanatic obsessed with beautiful little miniature pieces, I waaant T___T
The Pyramid of Geezers pun took me out ngl XD
LOL I didn't catch that, but thanks
1:25:16 There is an illegal road at the top right of the board. Great video btw
I think the small player aid helps a lot when I want to see what is legal or not.
Zé Mendes, also known as Au Au

Looks like a great game!

We are always like that in my game group. A bunch of introverts playing euros. Perfect fit. 😂
How did Dave build the aqueduct where he did? 34:00
Aqueduct can be built over land as well as water. (Just the ends need to be on land)
@@boardgamegeek Ah, I missed the water/land tiles on the card. Thanks!
If you're not a spatial person, pass.
Good point!
