I looked forward to your Vlogmas every day. Really enjoyed it. I love that cake plate, and have one my Husbands Aunt gave me. I've used it many times. My husband looks forward to it having a cake in it. lol I collect vintage cake plates, and recipe pie plates. I've ran out of room for more, and love them to much to put them away. I tried that once...drug them right back out. I put my vintage hen salt and pepper shakers on top of them, I love the hens and biddies. Thank you for allowing us to watch you enjoy your home. 😂😂😂😂 I don’t feel bad about my kitchen cabinet that packed full of decore chickens & more chickens 🐓 I’ve got a ton of chickens & roosters 🐓 lol I switch them out a lot , I’ve loved watching you piddle & play it’s actually hard work but it’s so much fun , I’ll start taking down Christmas next wk cause I do work 3 days a wk now 😮 so I’ll have to get all my totes that have things I took out to put Christmas out Lord it was like we were moving 😂 but it’ll be like getting new decor plus I’ve bought things since 😂 imagine that 😊 anyway sweet friend I’ve enjoyed watching your videos this yr you’ve given me so many ideas thank you for sharing your home 🏡 I can’t wait to see your winter decor cause I know I’ll do some tweaking 😂 have a Blessed New years get some rest cause we know there’s work ahead ❤

Actually, your large bottle with grape designs, 3 large square jars from your in-law, glass vinegar and oil decanters and glass closures are highly sought after for rustic farmhouse decor. Would definitely keep those to replace some of cute ceramic pieces. Thanks for sharing.
Nostalgia... before I started to school I could always conn my momma into buying me one of the plastic hens that would lay an egg when you pushed her into a sitting position. I always lost the eggs or broke the hen before the next trip to town. My mom had a pair of wrought iron rooster wall hangers she never changed or moved for 40 yrs.🤦♀️ I don't remember where they are, but it may be time to drag them out again. Do you sense that I need a booth? I have a crude 5 foot buffet chest in my kitchen that I bought a rooster stencil to paint on the cabinet doors. Can't wait to get to Jan 15. After that is my deep clean and redecorate time. I won't finish until the end of Feb. Happy New Year to all! 🎉🥳🎉

Oh Mary Poppins! I couldn't believe how many goodies kept coming and coming. I hope you actually knew the green glass was down there. They are beautiful. And the Christmas plates. There are so few opportunities to use them. I hate when I'm sorting and think bummer, I have to wait till next year to use these. I loved the jugs. They were both so unusual. So put branches in them for winter. I have a green demijohn and it's out year round with seasonal branches. Now--to my snowman. Although I'm not ready to give up Christmas yet. Thank you so much for the wonderful and entertaining vlogmases. Don't wait too long to come back. We'll be going through withdrawal!❤

I wanna know how you and everyone else deals with the loss of counter space in the kitchen with all the decorations on the counter?? Where do you prep day to day?
I lack counter space since my house is a Cape Cod style cottage but I still have lots of collectibles on display. My day-to-day prep is limited due to celiac and SIBO but when I need more space, I just move items to my table. Yes, it does drive me mad sometimes because I was once a minimalist but I get such joy from looking at the old vintage items. Definitely would not recommend the clutter while raising a family though.
Every time you would pull something else out of the cabinet, I kept thinking about Mary Poppins pulling stuff out of her bag. I just giggled.

I look like I am moving every time I do a deep clean of my house so, yes, I make a big mess first. Really like your old jars and jugs!
