- After the Seattle Symphony/Mad Season portion of the show at the Benaroya Hall (see video from Xanaland: • Mad Season & Temple of... ) a special surprise happened when members of Temple of the Dog reunited (Mike McCready/Jeff Ament/Matt Cameron/Chris Cornell/Stone Gossard) and played "Call Me a Dog" and "Reach Down". After this a special tribute to Layne Staley was done with Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees/Walking Papers), Sean Kinney (Alice in Chains), Duff McKagan (GNR/Walking Papers) & Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam/Soundgarden) with a moving version of Mad Season's song "All Alone". No video was allowed during the Seattle Symphony portions of the show and with Mad Season but you might find some video on UA-cam from others who did. The venue did record the whole show so hopefully they will officially release video soon on their channel: / seattlesymphony

38 years old and I shed some tears when I heard Layne. Damn I miss him. He's my favorite vocalist in music. Always was, always will be. Chris Cornell is probably my 2nd.
dang,me too dude... it was like hearing him singing from the heavens
I'm so thankful to exist at the same time as these amazing musicians and so grateful that McCready made this happen. Such a huge blow to lose so many of them at the same time, not only Layne and Andy, but John Saunders too and now Chris. I don't know how these guys handle the pain of losing so many of their close friends. At the time of Mad Season, we came close to losing McCready too... I'm so grateful he pulled through and is still kicking. No words can really describe the incredible impact these guys have had on my life. This is such a beautiful tribute, chills during All alone. Watching this you'd think it was filmed in the 90's pre technology... it's so amazing to see so many people just watching in awe rather than having the view blocked from 100's of phones. Eternally grateful for the music these epic artists have bestowed upon us. No one makes music like this anymore, these guys are all truly in a class of their own ❤💜💙💚💛 xxx
When I heard Layne's voice, I felt butterflies in my stomach. It was so beautiful and comfortable.
A beautiful night..thanks for posting this..we miss you Layne..
Just had to wipe tears from from the screen. Love you layne
Thats cool for Sean playing a Mad Season tune.
Damn, this is some beautiful music! RIP Layne. Forever missed, forever loved. Thank you to Chis for being so amazing. Keep the music alive!
R.I.P Layne Staley, Andrew Wood & John Saunders!
I wish I had known, would've given anything to be there...Amazing, my second fav singer! I don't think anyone else could have sung his songs and created the appreciation and love given life to this beautiful thing
Hearing Layne's vocals kick in sent chills.

Mike es el alma de Seatlle
I think Cornell should have sung "Say Hello 2 Heaven" instead of "Call me a dog", it would be more awesome, and the part of Layne... no words to describe
am the only one here who thinks that cornell looks like the dude?
mature
Chris Cornell's voice is still rocking all.of.these years later,he is amazing. I'm so glad that these guys are still doing their thing and keeping Layne's memory alive. Shows they we're really good friends to Layne. Rock on !
Awesome. Moved to tears. The last part with Layne's vocals is beautiful.

+Mike Savoia fuck yeah
+Mike Savoia Great news, I sent my Mom and my brother to this show, and I've been wanting a video or audio release. I need a HQ version of that "Brother" performence. It still haunts me.
Great tribute to Layne, Baker, and the beautiful sounds Mad Season created.
what a performance !!!! these guys saved Rock N Roll and they're still doing it every time they're performing.
This is fucking awesome!
RIP Chris, Layne, Andy we will never forget your awesomeness!
Thanks a lot for filming! It means a lot for people thousands miles away ! Great performance. Lucky you to be there :)
beautiful, stunning, amazing, incredible, perfect.
The one thing I found with Layne Staley is ability to get together with a few mates, like the Beatles of the 60's, he walked in and said, lets play something! His music will live as long as Mozart or Beethoven, it's a hunger in your soul when you hear the words ringing true through every fiber of your being! We lived among Immortals I tell you!
There's none like these legends!! All of Seatle scene please do US tour! Foo fighters to represent Nirvana, Alice n Chains with Cornell signing a few with them. Pearl Jam and Soundgarden- they could could give a piece of history to all who never got to see it! Love you Chris!! Your all respectable men who have ganed even more respect from me which I didn't think it wild get an higher. You respect all your fellow Seatle legends and love it!! Guns n Roses need to learn a few things from real Legends who honor there music and respect the art! So happy right now!!!!
I don't understand the throwaway jab at Guns N Roses. Also as great as these grunge guys are, as far as being Rock Legends go they are surpassed by Guns N Roses
My bad I should have said axel, He didn't even show up to the rock n roll hall of fame. Zero respect for what they did. I love GNR but disappointed over and over again year after year with his BS
Okay I understand why Axl didn't show up to the Rock N Roll hall of fame though to be fair. I mean with ommisions like Deep Purple it's hard to respect it.
amazig chris, his voice here reminds the good ol' days!
Mike Savoia- you are one LUCKY
guy! You blew my mind w the Audioslave footage you shot a few mos ago- now THIS! Thank you so much! Are your real initials M.C ? If so- u know me. This event needs to be put in a TIME CAPSULE!
My two favs ever......cry everytime I hear Layne
That Reach Down solo moves me every time!
tears in my eyes
Old memories!!!, 90´s grunge!!
thank you thank you!!!! i could watch this over and over and still get the chills. and i will. pinching myself...yes i was really there. makes me cry. i can't sleep i want more!! (another show tonight and then tomorrow....GO HAWKS!!!)
Thank you so much for sharing this, us U/K fans miss a hell of a lot. Tonight i go to bed with a happy smile on my face , that was pure class. Would love the boys to bring that show over the water, pure class. Thanks again Mike :-)
It's hard to watch this now that Chris is gone :(
I was at the show. 2nd row from the back. You had great seats man! Great job recording - amazing show!
