Hi! How long did this take? Also, did it last? Were there any cracks?

Thank you for making this video. I've been trying to find material ideas for a project I want to do. My plan is to do a couple banners for a freak show Halloween party. Large canvas like they use to use, 8'H x 10'W or so can be expensive. I was considering using cheaper canvas drop cloths because it would only hang outside for a few weeks and be rolled up in the garage the rest of the year. My concern was durability and paint not holding up. Do you think standard exterior house paint would hold up on canvas?

Hey, I am interested in starting to paint sideshow banners. Can I ask what kind of canvas, and paint did you use?

This canvas was just a heavy duty dropcloth, coated in cheap latex paint on both sides, then I used One shot, and ronin brand sign painters enamel. Gesso or rabbit glue should probably be used instead of latex paint. They hold up really well like this though. Its been outside all season. For better canvas, try contacting a tent company or boat cover company to make canvas blanks.
