States Attorney Kim Foxx admitted that the original "deal" given to Jussie Smollett was wrong.

After investigating the States Attorney Office, the Special Prosecutor submitted a report related to the original handling of the Jussie Smollett case. States Attorney Kim Foxx was interviewed and admitted that she was "surprised" by his deal. The Prosecutors office sent on a media campaign claiming that this original deal was not unusual. However, when asked to provide cases proving that other similar cases were handled the same way, they were unable to find any cases on point. There were always differences in those cases. I will be addressing portions of the Special Prosecutors report on these issues.
