Hiya I have some advice for deb about the plane anxiety: 1. Distractions - buy books/puzzle books/watch films etc 2. Techniques - 5,4,3,2,1 technique - 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, 1 thing you can taste. 3. Breathing - close your eyes and focus on your breathing. It doesn’t have to be deep breaths, but that may help some. Focus on how your chest rises and falls and breathe slowly. 4. Change your mindset - that nervous/anxious feeling is the same feeling as excitement. Switch the way you look at it! Hope this helps! Love your vids ❤
Hi Imogen, Deb here. Bless you 🫶🏻 Thank you so much for all the advice. I do most of it and it does work but not all the time. Don’t know if you notice but I’m always doing a word search when we fly. Great distraction for me. I use to be fine but sometimes I’m not so good. I just try keep my brain as busy as I can to distract me xxx
