I recommend going back to try Astral Ascent! I discovered that game because of this channel and they just released their 1.0 version recently!

Ultrakill layer 7 came out yesterday, I just finished and its INCREDIBLE, you could do a video on it, and if you don't have much to do you could use the opportunity to unlock the P levels

I love how you can search for roguelikes every month or two and actually find something interesting. Unfortunately some good ones are buried deep and in many cases you have to know them from yt\other places or you will not find them.
Talking about ps1, i still perfectly remember this banger of a game - Deception 2,3 (Kagero), never played 4th one on ps3. It's a game where all you do is setting up traps so people can run into them. You can't fight directly, only traps, so lure your targets in right spots and trigger traps. You can craft traps and merge them and you can combo them together. They also deal dmg to you (reduced) and it's just funny to watch your character flying along with enemies through the room. I loved to roll slow explosive ball with big aoe that sends everyone flying, scythe pendulum with swing timing, or good old big boulder to roll people over.
How dare you. Up until now I hadnt wishlisted a single Adults Only game.
I recommend Nuclear Throne, Dungreed, Juicy Realm, One Step from Eden, and Otxo.
Got to dissapoint you when it comes to game nr 2. Those are bought assets. Some are being used in rogue genesia as well. And yes, thumbnail got me. Great video!
that second game's sound effect, reminds me of dota 2 Phantom Assassin crit sound.

It's because they're incredibly lucrative, so much that they have the money to make the games actually good.
It's a win win, they make a good game because it's lucrative (for 😏 reasons) and you can turn off the sexual bits if you dont want *cats* all over the screen while playing
a rogue like i reccomend EVERYONE check out (before the demo is down temporarily) is balatro, literally my fav of the genre
Ps2 Castlevania curse of darknes is imaculate, the music is just hits different and got plenty of souls like boss fights.
oh and pokemon like summon breeding if you are into that.
Bruh don't sit up here and be sleeping on Lament of innocence, my guy the game slaps especially the Succubus boss fight.
Both games are solid and amomg one of my favs in the long line of Castlevania franchises.

@@broderickblack Same. The I.D. in Curse Of Darkness gave me many ideas for different types or variations for certain types. Lament of Innocence had very great combat as well and made me respect Hector for kicking everything's ass with a whip of all things.

a rogue-like I liked a lot that came out I think last week is Spellshot. seems like no one paid any attention to it, but it's really fun. it's an FPS rogue-lite, where you can buy magic ammo to create your builds. there are bullets that slow, burn, poison, bounce around the room, deal more damage based on how many items you have and a lot more. I highly recommend it
try the horror Roguelike Withering rooms, basically, clocktower, silent hill, fatal frame.....and oddly feels like a soulslike at times....
Recommend revisiting Ravenswatch or trying Spiritfall, or Blackout Protocol
The first thing that hit me with Just King was the soundtrack.
Was looking for "Wings of Seduction: Bust 'em out!". And what did I get? An info this game isn't available in my region. Stupid shit! -.-

Please please PLEASE try out Synthetik and Synthetik 2. Some of the best shooter rougelike gameplay Ive ever experienced with different classes depending on playstyle with micro and macro upgrade systems.

That second game, Mikene's Aspects, looks like it is using a stolen sprite for the main character. There was a game called Soul Quest during the last demo fest that had the same female character, with much better controls, combat, and production quality. It could be the other way around that Mikene's Aspects made the sprite and Soul Quest stole it, but because of the difference in quality I don't think so.
Either way something shady is going on...

It's a hard but satisfying gameplay loop, and I never use the brothel it just makes the game harder.

i don't know what it is about these games where you get upgrades as you do the main game situation. While this is something that "can" happen in reality it doesn't happen that often and really depends on circumstances. You could go out to do "thing" and not gain anything that would be considered an upgrade. However, there's a reason why such games are "popular."
