Instead of using the sealable version which still add more thickness to the card in the external sleeve, just put the card upside-down in the perfect shield, with the open part of the sleeve in the lower part of the card, then place it in the correct way in the external sleeve. This way there will be no top opening and the card will still be protected on every side without adding more thickness, which can create some problems with some deck-box when you want to place too much card in them.
the problem with this method is that over time the cards become damaged due to friction...this is how scuffing and superficial abrasions occur....since regular sleeves aren't tight fit...also small debris can get it causing deeper scratches.....perfect sealable fits with a regular sleeve is better protection.

Just so y’all know, it’s actually a good idea to put the inner sleeve on the card upside down to create a seal on the top of the card as well, just to protect the top of the card from water and dust! :)
I’ve been doing the inner sleeve technique forever now with the kmc perfect fit mini’s. Just a little tip though, put the card in name first inside the inner sleeve. Then you put it in your dragon shield as normal. That way both sides of the card are completely sealed.

I've used Dragon Shield sleeves for years and I'm really excited to try out these new products! And once I get the chance, my Salad deck is going into them
I use white matte for main , black matter for extra and just today I pull the trigger on the sealable , great concept and worth it 100% you may damage 2-3 when you are practicing but you get 100 so . I love them so much I bough 2 more packs for my other decks and binder cards :)

Also for anyone who’s telling us we’re double sleeving wrong on the perfect fit inner sleeve-we KNOW, we were excited when filming and we just messed up-we do know how to double sleeve cards, we just got excited talking about the new stuff. We had JUST gotten off a plane from Arizona, we’re jet lagged, we’re tired, and we’re PEOPLE. Give us some grace over something as silly as a sleeve, please. Y’all don’t need to go out on a witch hunt just because you also play MTG. It’s called excitement. We just forgot. We know name side goes down and you sleeve the opposite way. But just fyi: according to the policy documents you need to double sleeve in opposite directions. The card needs to be sealed into the two sleeves
Using the perfect fits and sleeving them in opposite directions is incredibly difficult to do. The inner sleeve likes to push off the card. This would seem like a non issue with the sealable, but the regular perfect fits are hard to sleeve in accordance with policy
@@chrisb7105 good to know. Are the sealable ones legal? I assume sideloaders are technically illegal since they don’t go in opposite directions.
@@GoBlueHTB yes the sealable are legal. I have not tried them out yet. If you use the normal perfect fit with non dragonshield sleeves they will probably be alright. For example the perfect fit are great with all my Konami yugioh sleeves
@@chrisb7105 true perfect fits are tight enough where they don't slide when doing sleeving for opposite directions this is telling me Dragon Shield needs to work the size but not too tight where it bends card when pushing it in, I always use KMC perfect size the ones from Japan (not the USA made ones) for Yu Gi Oh sleeves get the mark with Mini on package too and if you don't want to get KMC ones get the DS sealable there no way they can slide once the flap is inside just takes a bit more works to double sleeve them like you recommended.

I am just picking up the outer matte sleeves because a friend told me I should double sleeve my Charmer designed sleeves and I do not want them to get damaged or peeled each time I play the deck. I might get the inner sleeves to use for my extra decks.

I’d sleeve up my HERO deck with these bad boys. I have that double sleeved already with Standard sized clear sleeves but these look like a much better solution.
Just recently bought these sealable inner sleeves and they are a great fit but I can't seem to get them into my Dragon Shield matte purple sleeves without serious effort which then makes the inner sleeve warp and look awful. Maybe I just need to try a different sleeve idk.
I'm so glad they finally made japanese perfect fits, I came from MTG and pokemon I've always double sleeved, also a tip, put your perfect fits on with the opening on the bottom, this makes the sleeves pretty much water tight in case of a clumsy player. Definitely picking up some inners when I restock on my matte whites
Another pro tip put the card in the perfect fit upside down then put the card in the other sleeve the right way up so the top of the plastic from the first sleeve covers the card. Do this in your binders too
How do these compare to 'KMC mini character guard' outersleeves? That's what I've always used to double sleeve (with eclipse small as the inner sleeve)
I'm very excited to get the outer sleeved. I can finally be safe using my fun sleeves. Gonna sleeve up my Dark Magician Girl deck! Especially since I got the DMG theme sleeves

I would say my Dark Magician deck would go perfectly with the Dragon Shield sleeves. Just purchased my second 'Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon' and my third 'Magicians' Souls.' Being able to showcase my cards knowing that they'll be protected especially with the amount of MOOLAH invested...oy. I own a couple of Dragon Shield sleeves but was unsure about the Sealed Card Sleeves. Looks very good. Good luck to everybody. 🍀

I have heard that the sealables really help with not getting air bubbles in the card when double sleeving. I like my deck to be as flat as possible, so that sounds like my style.
Actually it’s the opposite you will a lot of bubble and much harder to fit inside of a regular dragon matte sleeve , I bought both and my favorite it’s been the regular perfect fit . Go to Amazon and you will find the sealable sleeves , and it has 1 review from

Thank you for recommending the sleeves. Got some perfect fit today and I must say I'm impressed and impressing me is more rare than a short print error starlight. They fit so nicely and once double sleeved, you actually have to look closely to notice its double sleeved. They also feel better quality than what my local shop originally sold me.
I gotta sleeve up my new and improved stardust deck with these new dragon shield sleeves. I’m so excited to finally be able to use my old cards and not be afraid of the edge fraying when I shuffle.
So can you have a card in a perfect fit, inside a KC sleeve for example, that's inside a matte outer sleeve?
So glad dragon shield got perfect fit sleeves. There’s only one other vendor I’m aware of that makes these and it’s great for double sleeving. I’d double up on anything I’d take to a locals cuz I’d be very upset if a drink was spilled and got to my cards. Just a side note: when using the “open” perfect fit, it’s good to face it the opposite direction of the normal sleeve to get a similar result as the “sealed” perfect fit.
I purchased both Perfect Fit Resealable and Japanese Size Matte Clear Outer Sleeves. After putting on the Perfect Fit as the 1st layer, the card felt very loose when putting into Outer Sleeves as the 2nd layer. Is the Outer Sleeves supposed to be the 3rd or the 4th layer?
So which sleeves should I use for my extra deck?

All the sleeves I used are dragon shield and never gone back, although using the clear plastic sleeves to double sleeves has been a bit annoying since some seem to trap air bubbles in it, but these look promising I'm definitely giving them a try.
Im literally gonna sleeve all my decks with these. Mainly because i only have 1 playset of each handtrap/staple/whatever. I wanted to know if the sealable does the "bubble thing", that the other perfect fits do. I must have them in a really tight deck box, for them to stay flat and after some hours of playing i must again press them to release the air bubble. I was waiting for the sealable because i think they would fix my problem.
The sealables have no bubble which is super nice honestly. I was worried about it too but the sealables are honestly my favorite!
Just what I needed! I started using dragon shield a few months ago and they’re so nice! I made a Blue Eyes deck as my first proper deck coming back to Yugioh and would love to double sleeve it!
question some of my gold foils from mago imperm and golden lord mostly are warping slighly will double sleeving like this help keep them from warping
That we honestly don’t know but we have noticed the gold foil does make them warp more. Ours are doing it too. Put them under a heavy book and it should fix it ;)

Great video. I had a question. Im trying to sleeve my cards with a japanese inner perfect fit sleeve into an outer japanese sleeve. Yet no matter what i do i cant get the card in all the way without sliding out of inner sleeve as im forcing it
Both are drago shield sleeves btw. Any ideas?

I'm definitely going to sleeve my max rarity Drytron Deck. Got some collectors rare in the deck that need to protect. But I have been using Dragon Shield products since you guys suggested it. So they made sleeves KMC was making already cool. Also when you double sleeve you have to put one sleeve on the opposite way. But they look nice. The oversized sleeves is a little to small because it’s making it to where your inside sleeves is pushing up in the middle. Which means over tine it will mess up your art sleeves hopefully not
Do you use KMC oversleeves? That's what I've always used and very happy with them
@@bigbudgaming9839 kmc over sleeves with art works great. But kmc also makes prefect fit. To be tournament legal. The rules so you have to use an over sleevez. But prefect fit sleeves works great for binders

I love dragon shields! You can tell how mufh they care just by looking at their ninja st... Card sleeves! The fit, the colors, and the protection! And they listen. These are sick! Since they came out, I have had a max rarity 1st Ed crystal beast deck. Seeing as those ultis and ghosts are super expensive, these are gonna go on those. Can't let a random thing happen to that deck
