Ok
Sir,
you have absolutely no idea how big of a help you are.. Like absolutely no idea. I am officially spreading the word on the existence of this channel to all my nerd Whatsapp groups
But also, my polite requests
1. Never stop using Kotlin. Please.. We also prefer it to other languages
2. Completely exhaust your firebase firestore series with kotlin.. Esp emphasy on the querying and data retrieving part.. And SORTING DATA This are the most challenging .
all in all. Keep safe, thanks for your hard work.
Thanks a lot for taking your time ❤️ I'm glad my content helps you
Dude you are really helping, I hope some of the person you help got big with their app donate to you accordingly!

Thanks bro
Great, thanks
I just want to ask how can I get the id that is generated by firestore and store it also as value in field name (id as an example)?
Not sure if this is best practice but -
val id = yourReference.add(field).await().id
yourRef.document(id).update("fieldToUpdate", id).await()
Creates a variable "id" and assigns the uploaded data's ID to it, then updates a field within the document you've just created, in my case it updates "fieldToUpdate" with the data ID
You'd want to use transactions if possible though
If I should show a pop up message in my phone screen when we change data in fire store, what should I do?????
Please can you help me how we can set timestamp on firebase firestore on kotlin and java please help
I'm getting "No person match with the query" error when I try to update
But if there are several persons matched query but we wanna update just specific one, what should we do ?
access a document by its id
