Costs: 63131 Yen / 418 USD (2 people)
Name of the restaurant: Ginza Okahan Honten
The level of clean and skill intimidates me in most of your videos from around these parts. oooff.
Your food presentation is top-notch! I can practically taste the dishes through the screen
😊 3:37 😅 4:01 4:04 4:05 4:19
Uve not eaten at any good restaurants have you? lol
oh, thank you, so much.
i always think the image quality is so good.
it's really a great pleasure to see the videos.
happy new year.
I've seen some other Teppanyaki chefs use a spatula to block the hot steam from the customer when adding fluids. Always thought that was a nice touch.
The chef was wasting all the beef fat. I expected he used the sliced bread to absorb it.
That's A5 wagyu it has enough fat don't worry about the " lose fat " you never had A5 wagyu before so don't talk about it
I have been fortunate enough to have gone to a semi high end Japanese restaurant many years ago, no Matsusaka beef though! 😢
We did have steak and prawns and it was delicious! The big thing I noticed is that the restaurant I was at the chefs put on a real show cooking the food! Knife twirls, alot of pizazz
like tossing the salt from three feet away and it landing on the food perfectly and evenly. Cooking the prawns was a real show with unbelievable knife skills. The speed at which he worked at with his knives was amazing!
The chef was constantly talking to us with even a joke or two and there was a lot of knife clanging ...everything was done with flair! It was very entertaining!🦂🥂
So relaxing, thanks for your videos.
not worth $418 if you still need to hit the McDonalds drive thru afterwards. $418 meal should keep you full for a month.
Not everyone is like you fatso
Would love to supply these restaurants with white towel. So I can get rich. The amount of times he cleans the oil
He wiping away the good juices and oils lol
It's my hometown food! Mie Prefecture!
This one sit down meal cost as much as my monthly car payment haha
The entire meal is like an appetizer to me. I would have to eat out after eating out.
Well that explains it
Not for Americans
Fr lol
5:24 Tf was that?! Dude rationing the pepper or what?! 😂
$418? I know there's an inflation problem, but this is ridiculous
Looks so good.
sensacional
Guarulhos SP Brasil
These guys are the kings of busy work.
17:14 I swear he hesitated 3827262x about cutting that piece of steak lmao
I would call that rare to medium rare and not medium
400$ and no fresh wasabi? also, that bread looks meh. Im being harsh because it's such a high price point
As much as he’s a professional...he sure hacked that lobster up...
I think lobster is over rated as a fine dining item. I personally dont even think it should go with steak. But its a popular duo. To each their own. Love the videos of it all being cooked regardless. All looks delicious.
I think depending on the person, you could say that most of the items on a teppanyaki menu can be overrated since they enjoy cooking it themselves more than watching another cook it
Delicious😅
delicious🤤🤤
Give me a couple of chili dogs and a $20 bottle of French white wine . . . 😘
Is it me or is this cook a little sloppier than most Japanese of his profession? I'm sure it tastes great!
He did an amazing job , it’s not easy preparing food as people are watching you let alone filming
@@cbsguy6363he didn't do as good as the other Japanese chefs that's what he is saying and you can clearly see it he did a good job but not as good as others
He was decent not as bad as that female chef on the other vid lol
Very Nice Video Superb Sooooo awesome
0:44 Dear Friends, please let me know ( if anyone knows ) - where I can buy such a spoon?
Chef was really mad at that lobster when the first half didnt wanna come out as easy as the second half 😅.
Happens sometimes, he did an awesome job
Fuck that .. $418 for food soaked in butter? Yeah ill have japanese McDonalds
the price vs the quantity and quality is too much.
not worth it, to be frank.
I'm curious if the lobster was overcooked 😂...1 fry, 3 steams and another fry with butter...took so long compared to some that even the maitre d' went out for a smoke 🤣
with 418 dollars ..just buy the best beef and lobster best wine in the market then cook it the same way in your home with all members of the families..
Best wine would cost you from over one thousand dollars upwards
Best wine would cost you from over one thousand dollars upwards
You do that then

Teacher: food in the class is not allowed
the last desks:
as a typical american i have only had lobster tail and claws... i keep watching these and wonder what part of the head you eat when it is served to you
😂😂😂
Supposedly the head guts are tasty lol I’m good on all that though
Wow
Pairing of bell/hot pepper and lobster seens weird
Looks good.
As i sit here with my dino nuggets and fries
Getting old, brother....
You're not paying for food, you're paying for prep. He can do the same thing with a baked potato and a pound of bacon. The food is cheap. You pay for his skills and training.
he cant cook lobster it looks so dry
I bet he heads for a burger joint right after so he will have some sensation of being full.......
The Matsusaka beef is super rich.
I cant bear with the metal sound. this cooking style is def not for me.
why did he touch the cooking piece of steak with his hand...lmao. WHYYYYYY.
$418 for what? That shit? OMG you got me fuked up man I’m good
The presentation of the lobster was not great. I’m sure it tasted delicious though.
Whatever else you might say about this, I wish I could one-hand crack an egg like that. It never works for me.
Masterfully done sir!
The two slices of sourdough bread (Costco Tokyo?) are certainly an unexpected touch.
Simle and so dellicious,I know.
Kurchina!

🐕
Overcooked
For that much money I better get a happy ending.
Literally coming here to say that. What a fucking rip off this is.
bahaha.. and a coupon
This reminds me of when I was a technical consultant on the major accounts (Trump, Marriott, Sheraton, Hilton Hotels, Boeing, General Mills, Toyota, Mitsubishi ...) sales team at AT&T. I would go to dinner with the rest of the sales team on Major Accounts, and executive level management from the customer to dinners like these ($300 to $800 per person) where multiple hundreds of million dollar contracts were involved.
I kind of miss witnessing the negotiations, flying on the corporate jet and the great food (I must have gained a hundred or so pounds of weight. This guy must weigh at least 500 lbs.... during that time of my life)
🤣
No reason whatsoever to spout any of that brain rot on us
Not everyone lacks the self control you same as you and there is something called " exercising"
Clumsy and messy chef made the whole experience not worth $418!
Agreed. When he dropped the spatula and sprayed them with hot oil, I thought he should have had the whole meal comped.
I agree also, not the best performance from this chef, especially when you consider the price of the meal.
You 3 clowns have obviously not eaten in that sort of restaurant before or worked in the restaurant industry…he did an amazing job
Bitch you’re not even worth $1 so stfu
@@cbsguy6363I’ve done both. Not an amazing job. Look at how fugly he played @ 11:10 for instance.
If he didnt play with the food so much it wouldve cooked twice faster/better lmao mans focused for 20mins on a pepper plus butchered the sh*t outta that lobster meat
A Tepan and a fool are soon parted...
And who asked for your opinion loser?
Slower cooked foods are better…sometimes the lobster just doesn’t want to come out…blame the lobster
You know nothing lmao
Lol ya it really didn't look the best... and I could be wrong... but did he leave the shit sack in the lobster?? 😬
Thats a tiny lobsters, you should go to Vegas the lobsters 🦞 is big as your arm for much cheaper. That waygu size is for snack size, it too small, kids meal 😂
The thing that drives me up the wall with these videos is that they WON'T stop moving the darned steak! They keep moving it around for seemingly no reason. Put it on the grill and let it cook!
Why
@@Tacet137 You build up a better crust, getting a better maillard reaction (browning) if it sits still. With as good as these chefs are supposed to be, they shouldn't need to move and prod and poke at the meat to tell how well done it is. That said, all their moving things about is part of the showmanship of teppanyaki, and the difference isn't much so long as it gets enough time on each side. The part that bothered me was the triangle piece that didn't get even cooking, and how badly he butchered getting the lobster tails out. They should come out in a single smooth movement, whole, not in pieces the way he did it.
Sure tell the Japanese chefs how to cook wagyu go eat your 1 dollar steak buddy
In Japan all living things can be eaten raw. Seafood is eaten raw the most.
