Temporada recomendable de Noviembre a Marzo, no llega sargazo, Puerto Morelos tiene una barrera de arrecifes y no hay olas, el mar está muy tranquilo con aguas cristalinas y tiene ojos de agua provenientes de CENOTES, también está cerca la ruta de los cenotes, está a 30 minutos de Cancún y Playa del Carmen
Well, great question: if I was visiting Cozumel, I'd say save a day to spend in Puerto Morelos, and if I was visiting Puerto Morelos, I'd say save a day to spend in Cozumel. There is so much to see at both! But they are both definitely different.
Yes, all video was taken within the roped off Ojo de Agua area set aside for public snorkeling. I'm guessing it is about 150 yards out and 150 yards wide. Do you know of any other good snorkeling in the area? 😎
