- Kyle Dean Massey (with host Andrew Kober) tells a story about onstage injury at Wicked, and sings "I'm Not That Girl" as part of the Feels Like the First Time concert at Le Poisson Rouge, New York City, Monday, February 10, 2014.
"If you didn't get that its fine my mother still doesn't get it" I can't count how many times I said this about a show I did.
I was caught in an epic struggle between wanting to like the video as soon as possible and wanting to keep watching him as he sang.
Watching him sing was the clear winner in the end.
This is why I love Kyle Dean Massey!
Kyle + I'm Not That Girl = Me crying.
I hope he comes back to broadway along with Donna Vivino and Alli Mauzey... I'd really like to see them live.
Isn't Donna a standby?
MayorLen RBLX she was and then i believe, i could very well be wrong, she got the role on tour. but if she only was a standby then that is just utterly unbelievable as she is the most talented elphaba wicked has ever seen.
Emma Rose I was watching the full show, I'm sure you saw it on youtube, and I was thinking, omg, she is stunning with Alli. Then I watched the It's me comparison and it said she was a standby. I was like, really? - She is like the most talented person ever. Her defying gravity is absolutely amazing! I sure hope she does Elphaba again and this time the main part!
MayorLen RBLX yes!!! i was sooo happy when i saw her full show on youtube, i freaked out haha. her and alli are amazing together. i think she was standby for broadway and she had the role for the tour, I'm not entirely sure. i really do hope donna, alli, and kdm come back or if they don't come back to the show i hope they do the movie bc personally i think they are the best portrayers of each role.
Omg, totally agree!
Such a great story teller and a funny story. It would've been awesome if he did the Galinda hair *toss toss* as he was singing the line "but i'm not that girl"
That "every so often we long to steal" doe! 👏😫
What an interesting and awesome, if not painful, story! KDM is one of my favorite Fiyeros ever. So hearing him sing here is such a treat. What a delight!
The competition for roles must be so intense.. with so many talented singers around... hard for them all
I died when he was telling his story...
Elphaba: Don't shake him!
Lion: *is dead*
Fiyero: ...I'm not.
😂
Please Kyle Dean, come back to Wicked with Donna and Alli 💙💚❤
A guy singing Elphaba's song?!? I'm impressed!
Cool
Ohhh....I got chills
There is nothing he cant sing. Such beautiful tone, beautiful man.
Great singer... lovely timbre to his voice
This is my favourite story ever.
I'm in love omg
I love Kyle
I love him
I kept watching for Andrew Kober
those 5 people are crazy
He's so adorable
I love Kyle Dean so much! I know he is gay, but he's really hot. And I love his smile, and acting, and singing. And also dancing.
i nominate him for stardom!
Yes Jared. Regarding Entertainment is his firm. My nephew is also one of the producers of High Maintenance, the web series on Vimeo. It has been picked up by HBO.
Cheekbone goals
I live in Jonesboro right now! Born and raised
Am I the only person who thought he was gonna start singing "My Heart Will Go On?"...because the melody they were playing for "I'm Not That Girl" is melody is the same melody for that song lmao
We have so much in common! I'm a klutz too and I am from Arkansas!! That's crazy that he's from Jonesboro!
He and Jonathan Groff can make great babies! LOL
sadly Kyle has married to another guy
Maksim Li There’s nothing sad about it. His husband, Taylor Frey is a great guy and both of them had been dating for many years before they decided to tie the knot.
*YES*
His story was so funny :-)
He's a gay man's dream my god.
My nephew is his manager.
REALLY?!
What key is this in?!
what key is he singing in?
+JaKoB Martin F maj
+Sam Ritter thank you
This song sounds better in a male voice than it does a woman's. The low notes tend to sound awkward when an actress sings them because women are fenerally taught that the higher their voice the better so they don't work on their low notes. Even those who do work on them less because they wow the crowds never and no one cares whereas good low notes for men, especially those who aren't tenors, are more used and more important
I completely support him being gay, but you HAVE to admit.... he's REALLY attractive
+Ayah Mahana Lucky for me!
those things have nothing to do with each other
OMG, I dont care if he's gay,he's cute and he's great at singing. no wonder they picked him!
I didn't know he was gay!!!!!!
