Sandwich FAQs:
1. These sandwiches were made for three hungry teenage boys. They were made specifically with breads and toppings that the boys enjoy.
2. I’m not happy about all the plastic in this video, either, but until I learn how to hold 12 sandwiches and all the ingredients in two hands, I’m going to continue to employ plastic as a means of sandwich and ingredient containment.
3. No, I didn’t mean to put the stuff on that one sandwich in such a way as to upset you or aggravate your self-diagnosed OCD.
4. No, I don’t know how long it’s going to be before I make that other type of video that you prefer over this, but it’s probably coming soon.
5. No, I wasn’t aware that you dislike this type of video. I do, however, wonder why you clicked on it.
6. No, none of the sandwiches or ingredients were wasted. All 12 sandwiches were consumed in less than 24 hours.
7. No, I did not apply too much/too little of something to that sandwich. These sandwiches were made for three specific people, and they were made the way they like them, so it was the exact right amount.
8. No, I didn’t post this pinned comment to be a jerk. I posted it to include answers to the questions/criticisms that I get most often on my sandwich videos. This is both my most loved and most criticized type of video, so I felt that it was time for a FAQ section to answer and address some of your questions and concerns.

It's a silly thing to be upset over though agreed. Though I do think buying a pack of reusable dishwasher safe baggies would save money and reduce waste

Dear Mary! I thought this day would never come :) Here's what I think about these videos: the sandwiches look amazing, and I'm sure they taste even better. All the ingredients are perfect, in perfect amount and perfect placing. Your knife movements are smooth and spoon scoops are a dream. Sandwich heaven.

I don't tend to comment on videos much. I just watch what I enjoy and keep myself to myself, but I've noticed on a few of these sandwich videos, the negativity towards you, and I just felt compelled to share my opinion on this occasion.
I own a business with my partner. We work 12 hours a day for very little money, massive emotional reward but little else.
I suffer with constant exhaustion AND insomnia. Crippling anxiety and depression due to a very bad past relationship, as well as numerous health issues. ASMR is my little safe place in an otherwise really scary and danger-filled world, and I can honestly say these sandwich videos are my very favourite. They're filled with so many careful triggers and details.
I know the work and preparation you go through to make these videos in particular, and as well as thoughtfully making these sandwiches for the people that you do, you continue to make videos of them for us even though you experience such trivial negativity from that awkward minority.
Thank you so much for what you do. Sincerely, you help me to find some very much needed peace.
i know an influx of people tell you how to make sandwiches on these videos, i have just NEVER seen someone spread jelly so efficiently with a spoon- awestruck if i'm completely honest

The problem with relaxing to this video before going to sleep is...I inevitably end up wanting a sammich.

I LOVE your sandwich making videos, Mary. I find them so relaxing and wholesome. It's a good thing feeding people you care about. And I don't know why, but I find the care used to make the sandwiches (like getting the mustard or mayo to cover the bread so completely) so satisfying!
Honest to God, Mary these people need to shut it. They are miserable, unhappy people sitting behind computers in their miserable lives taking it out on you and I’m sure lots of other UA-cam creators. Hi Mary! I make alot of sandwiches too and I recently started using reusable silicon ziplock bags and they saved me alot on regular ziplocks. I love them! but this is just a suggestion :) I don’t care what people think but I ADORE THESE SANDWICH VIDEOS. Period. Haters are too bored so they resort to nit-picking for that attention that they lack of.
I love how you have it all planned out on a list with ALL the ingredients. The fact you have it set-up to where everything is perfectly arranged as well is very impressive, as it shows your detailed and organized. I love food ASMR vids, and you are by far the best. It's very relaxing, on how you incorporate crinkle sounds, and your soft speaking really is amazing. Hope your doing well, and please have a Happy 2023 😊
