It's cooler than the latest bikes. After I turned 60, I felt that mid-size bikes were lighter and more reliable than large bikes with engines over a liter, and they put less strain on my body, so I started to enjoy them more.
I have an older version from 1996. Oil-cooled engines from Suzuki are brilliant, armored and have a beautiful sound. Great universal equipment for the city and the road, for beginners and advanced users. Best regards
@pea5e they sure are great bikes my friend, it's my first road bike suzuki I've ever owned but I've had a few suzuki rm's motorcross bikes in my younger days and I thought they was better than the rest. Thanks for the comment my friend and please ride safe.
I bought one of these new in 2001; my 3rd bike and replaced my GPX250R. I was at uni in Staffordshire with a girlfriend in Essex and parents in Middlesbrough, so was doing triangles around the country. Bandit 600 and Fazer were on the shortlist. A Thundercat/CBR600F/ZZR600 would have been ideal but we're out of my reach for insurance at 21yrs old. The jelly mould proved very adept and I had it for 14 years, albeit the last 4 were in the garage awaiting a street fighter conversion that never happened. Ultimately I had to sell it on as a house move loomed, but have very fond memories of it
@adamnichol4526 wow mate this comment is great proving the reliability of the gsxf. Great story my friend and the miles you've done is amazing. Ride safe my friend. Respect
Ah the nostalgia! This was my first ever motorbike, bought in 2010 with only 12k miles on the clock, and I took all the way up to 78k miles before selling it 2022, ridden only in nice warm weather and never during Winter .. the only issue I ever had with it was a carb vacuum leak .. serves me right for fiddling with things I still didn't understand back then, but managed to sort it out nevertheless. But truth be told, the OE rear mono shock on these is a joke, even as an inexperienced rider, I quickly realized that I was not supposed to be catapulted out of the seat on uneven roads, a Wilbers 640 Road fixed that discomforting issue, and I also swapped out the upper triple tee with one from a 2004 750 model, which is an exact fit, that raised the handlebars for a more comfortable riding position, the OE clip on's became too low for my liking as I aged. Enjoy! And ride safe 👍🏻🙂
@ghassanalfarra8935 absolutely 💯 great I'm really pleased it took you back to owning one. I've not done enough miles to comment on the rear shock but it will need some spring to eject me out of the seat as I'm 21 stone hahaha. Sure is a lot of bike for the money I paid. Thanks for the comment my friend. Ride safe
@throttle_up yes mate the photo was taken just after it had been washed, also I think the previous owner had some kind of treatment done to the paint as the water was just running off. Thanks for the comment mate. Ride safe
@Wakeytwowheels thanks mate, I love her a nice inline 4 with carburetors and a choke and yes she sounds great too. Thanks for the view and comment pal. Ride safe
Evening Dallas Congratulations mate on the bike, always great to get a new toy to play wi 😊 Years ago, had the older model the 600 teapot they were called. @Flyingscotsman3 Thank you my friend. That's something I love about it the revs it seems to enjoy it. It certainly as cleaned up well for a 05 bike. Thanks for the comment my mate it's something that means a lot to me. Ride pal
@@Smiles_per_gallon01As you know same as me... Sometimes unfashionable = very good value for money bike's. Your beemer my blackbird very good examples of that too. Only for us who can ride without abs n modes!😉😂😂 Safe mate...🥂🤙
@jessicaelizabeth5396 they're a nice bike. Yes one day you should get your bike license and come out for a ride. Thanks for the comment Jess see you soon.
Great question my mate but I'm not sure which I like best, the bmw as loads of torque and very powerful but not as agile as the suzuki, and the suzuki just wants to be thrashed. 2 different bikes built for different things and I guess I love them both the same although the bmw as been with me from the beginning of the channel. Great question mate very tough to answer but I really like it. Ride safe bud 🙏
@stevep9739 so newer bikes are slower. Why would Suzuki do that ?. I think the newer bike is faster than the older one but I'm not a expert and never claimed to be. Thanks for the feedback I'm just going off Google search.
Hi bud just to let you know I've checked in the factory manual that came with the bike and my specs on the vlog is correct pal. Just thought I'd let u know. Ride safe bud.

Which bike do you think is better, the BMW K1200RS or the Suzuki GSX600f? Which one is better for you to drive?
Great question my mate but I'm not sure which I like best, the bmw as loads of torque and very powerful but not as agile as the suzuki, and the suzuki just wants to be thrashed. 2 different bikes built for different things and I guess I love them both the same although the bmw as been with me from the beginning of the channel. Wrong in this vid too.
98 onwards got the bandit engine 78bhp 39ft/lb.
Pre 97 was 86hp and 44ftlb.
Obtainable with a stage one tune for the 98 bikes.

@stevep9739 I've just checked again and it says the 2004 to 2005 is correct to my video.
