Memorizing Squares by Association - First 25 - Quick Mental Math Trick
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 вер 2017
- In this video I show how to memorize squares of numbers up to 25 which will let you recall them in 2 seconds or less.
From my experience memorizing by association is much more efficient that memorizing by repetition.
I also make association not with random objects, but with number being squared or neighbor squares, which helps you recall the association easily.
First 25 squares are fundamental to calculating squares of bigger numbers - up to 100 an beyond - because of recurring pattern in the results. That will be covered in later episodes.
Calculating squares quickly also helps you use Method of Squares for multiplying two numbers, covered in my other videos.
On my channel you will find other videos with fast calculation methods, but also with logic puzzles and problem solving techniques.
2:35 - Byte is of course 8 bits, which allows to encode 256 values. Silly mistake on my part.
I like your channel...,😊😊😊😊😊
It really helps me a lot ...😇😇😇😇
Thankyou soo much 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💖💖💖
We all know you looked this up a day before the test
Yep
Yep
yep

Yep
21 is 12 tured around
12=144
*turn around*
21=441
Amazing! Just like with next number 13 - 169. Turn around 31 - 961. But I missed that about 12. Thanks for sharing!
@@mareascarlett7357 doesn't matter if it's silly :) if it gets the job done (makes you remember) then it's a good method.
Genius
I have to do 1-20 by tomorrow in less than 1 minute.....
Lumber Princess Good luck! I have a test tomorrow as well.
Lumber Princess I have to do 1-25 in 30 seconds 😂😭 Good luck!
Heidi Bryant I have to do it in 5 seconds
Tomorrow and I don’t know 16-24
I have to do 1-30 in 2 min.
Thank you!I'm taking pre-ap algebra this year and wanted to mesmerize my perfect squares up to 25,this worked like a charm.
cιєrrα нσσρ good to hear that! :)
I meant memorize lol but yeah, thanks
I have a treat for you all, square (23) or 23^2 can be memoriesed as (2+3) 2(power) 9(square of 3) = 529
thank you! i just started middle school and my math teacher is making us memorize this the first week
omg same
I LOVED THIS VIDEO! SUPER HELPFUL!!!!👍
Wow...wonderful trick to remember within seconds...Thank u so much for such helpful contents🙏🙏🙏
Gave us this today and test tommorow! What a great teacher!
😂 good luck
Thank you for this!
Hi actually I think we can memorise 23^2 by :
23square = 529 (2+3=5 put 2 in the middle and then 3 square is 9 ) so 529
Hope it helped u just a small help that I can offer😁
yes, it does!!!!!
Thank you sir, ... it helped a lot!!
Best video on this topic! Thankyou so much, Sir
I have a test tommorow on this and thus is really going to help me thanks!
Amazing trick thank you

Thank u very much sir.....
Thank u so much for savingy time
Thank you so much!!! You saved my math grade’s life!
Wow, thanks!
Thanks a lot bro .................
Thanku for helping me to memorize it
It was really helpful
amazing tricks
Any tips for learning 26-100?
seriously nice trick 😁😄
Thank you I memorized it easily
Im glad I helped :)
24 square as 5_6 is the number 6 after 7 so 576
Lmao we have a recitation tomorrow..so thank you
same
My teacher is making us memorize till 30 in one day
@@jamesgary1598 same
Thank you i have exam tommorow
Thank you so much!!!😭😩
Thanks ☺️
This is so helpful! Thanks!
Im glad it helps! Thanks for letting me know :)
The day before the test?
Watching the video for thefirst time..but must say I had created the same tricks to remember already
Thank u soooo much.. 😃😃
i have a algebra quiz tomorrow and im suppose to memorize square roots of 1-25 and I forgot to study over the weekend ;-;
same
We need to memorise squares until 30 and cubes till 15
Sir plz tell about 26 to 30 also
Can you make till thirty please
Finally found a video for me
Erma gerd thank you
nice
I want to tell my trick
It's just obvious that brain remembers visual things more than theories.
so I make patterns on dial pad(no's arranged on mobile keypad)
It's so easy to remember the pattern of nos as well (make the pattern without penup!!)
Thnx 🙏
How can you remember 23 square
Just remembered if 22 square is 484 then 23 square is more than 500+ so 5. Take 23 and take 3's square. That is 5(2)from 23. (9) Which is after taking 2 from 23 remains only 3 so make its square. Which is 9 so it's 529
This helped a lot! But i have to learn 25-30 now 😥
please make a video on cubes as well it was very helpful.
Thanks! I didn't think about that idea. I will think and see if I can come up with something good enough :)
SUPERB SIR
Tnx a lot man 😁😁, it really helped me a lot in exams
I'm glad to hear it! :)
@@MathLogic please you do a video on cubes , it would a great help 🙏
@@esha8972 that might be a bit trickier but who knows...
I am very glad
I have written 1-20 in just 15 seconds😁🤒😤😱😡😰🤐😭👿😵😱😓😥🤧
omg Thanks😭
I've found another thing but maybe it only works for sqrs of 17,18 and 19 respectively like; 7*4=28 and now put 9 frm 7^2=49, u get 289 same for 18^2 = 324
Here again, 8*4=32 and then put 64's 4...
And similarly, for 19^2 just take 9 and mltply it with 4 u get 36 which is 1st 2 digits of the sqr and then put 1 frm 81 of 9^2
And u get 361 !!!!
I knw it's silly but it works for me to remember this 3's sqrs. Coz, I found it very difficult until I related them like this.. lol
Nice
Good 😱
tysmmm
You should say that trick of 21=opposite of 21 which is 12 and the opposite of the 12 square is opposite of 21's square
sir kindly put another video up 30 square,
To memorizes easily & it is helpful for learns.
Thanks! I have something in mind to continue - even up to 100.
Tnq😊
I've lost touch with maths because I'm from humanities stream but now I'm watching these videos so that it can help me in CUET exams😭
Who all think, this is more complicated than by hearting the square roots as it is from the book😅
25^2 = 2*3=6 , 5^2=25 => 625
This trick works on all no. ending with 5
me trying to memorize 1-30 for next period o,o
Thank you Sir
Never forget
thanks helped me out alot
=]
Amazing
Thank you! I hope it's useful for you
23=2+3=5,2,3^2
When UA-cam is helpful than your teacher
I don’t know why but u sound like medvedev (world no 2 in tennis) on my earphones.
Use me as a this is awesome button.
Bro is problem of solution
I'm a 6th grader and I cant even multiply double digits I'm dead now
Bro in in 11th... we r on the same video keep up the good work u'll excell
Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "a good way to memorize things" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Yiyevi Ponevi Approach - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my friend got amazing success with it.
There are many different ways of learning something that are freely available on the web without having to buy some regurgitated system that is based on the same tried & tested techniques. However 'rote learning' of something does NOT impart understanding. The more you try to understand something the more you learn. Carl Fredrick Gauss a famous mathematician & lightening calculator said: “One must distinguish two things here; an extraordinary memory for numbers and true calculating ability. These are, in fact, two completely separate quantities that may be connected, but are not always.” Learning the simple criss-cross algorithm or the squares algorithm will go a long way to being able to compute all the squares up to 100 whilst becoming familiar with the number patters (as shown in this video) will help to retain these numbers for faster recall.
I can do 1-100
are you crazy
Not trying to be a hater but I didn't find this helpful. Now, I know it can be helpful to a lot of people but it's just my opinion. It's still a great video tho. It's just that they use a lot of different tricks, so I can't memorize the tricks. I feel stupid writing this but....
Hey I know this is a pretty late response to your comment and it might be irrelevant now but if you ever feel stupid because of something like that again just remember, different people learn differently. One thing might work for someone but might not work for someone else
Wow, totally illogical trick 🤣
Wow😂😂😂 fully illogical trick
Sorry, Your indian ass is used to quick and easy solutions. Association is a memorization technique, not a trick
Fucking logic
Remember 1 4 9 6 5 6 9 4 1 0
Every digit whose once Digit is 1 has a square which has 1 as its once digit
Every digit whose once digit is 2 has a square which has 4 as its once digit
3 square ending with 9
4 square ending with 4
Thanks a lot sir........
Thank you sir..
nikhil ganani You're welcome
