One of the more frustrating elements of vendor hopping is spend time looking for the a buried vendor or they only have one vendor and someone goes afk or disconnects while using the vendor.
If I come to camp and cannot see the vendor within 30 seconds after running all around some person camp I am outt there. It has to be obvious and easy to find. Not sure why some people just put one vendor up too, you can have up to four I think, that way nearly never will someone be hogging them all.
Very cool! I also prefer utility camps. I have all my camp slots filled and spread out over the map. My main "workshop" for each is a shelter. Then it's consistent no matter which camp is active. Any stuff I build outside the shelter is to share with other players and for the sake of variety. It's nice working in the Sun sometimes. Been toying with the idea of a more portable and compact "place anywhere" camp with just: shelter, greenhouse, defense, power, and water. Everything possible in the shelter. Fewest items outside with no fussing to place them. Low budget, efficient, the same everywhere I drop it. But having all my camp slots filled, haven't been able to decide which one to sacrifice ...yet!
Before I had FO1st I did similar to you, my 'spare' camp was literally just the first shelter you get with all workbenchs in etc, basically like the tent but costs 40 caps to drag where you are. Plus there is an 80 atoms linked challenge to move your camp 76 times so happy days
One day I'll get the plans for that vintage water purifier... One day! :D Still trying to see if there's something like a candy dispenser (or the like) for easy food, but might try to find some grains to plant for soup instead.
The "Water Well" you buy from Foundation will allow you to collect dirty water and not take rads. Press drink and then spam collect and you can collect all the dirty water you want with 0 rads! Great for my Bloodied builds...
Looking forward to a carnivore centric camp build. Good info about the stacking buffs from the new bowling game machine. Wondering what the drop in camp cost would be if you replaced a couple of the cryo turrets with spotlights, which are supposed to make your turrets more effective.
They should let players cook with purified water with better food bonuses, i mean who in their right mind cooks with dirty water when they already have clean water ?
I have my base across the street. The cranberries are nice but expect it to be attacked nearly every time you or anyone spawns there. There's also an enemy spawn location right on the street.
I'm on Xbox, but I just moved my camp from just down the road from there. Nice resources in the area, but my vendor was just gathering dust! I keep one camp in each corner of the board so I can fast travel to it and it's just a short hop to wherever I'm trying to be...
I try to make my camp utility based for what I need but I really like my utility room. It's my workshop ad designed for others to come in as well. Multiple workbenches and set up real nice with a vendor. I like it anyways.
Enemies will occasionally spawn in your camp probably because your camp module is inside there. They will spawn directly on the module. Move your module away if you want them to always spawn outside.
Don't you hate when you post a great piece of advice and some 'akshually' shmoe comes along and says they're an exception? Well, I'm sorry that I'm the shmoe in this case. I'm in the forest and get mole rats, dogs, liberators, ghouls, and scorched spawning at points all around my camp. Fortunately, I'm amazed at what a crack shot Yasmin turns out to be.
@@keithcummings3260 Knowing the game and Bethseda, it may be an inconsistent "feature". After reading the original commentor's statement I realized all of my camp issues were mobs spawning behind a barrier where my camp module sits. So it makes a lot of sense in my situation.
There's a chart that tells you how much budget each item consumes, I believe they use a lawn flamingo scale. It can help you get more out of you camp budget. I absolutely do not use turrets, they are just useless and eat the absolute crap out of you budget. Often times they don't target enemies but the enemies target them then they break and are more expensive to rebuild then the stuff they protect.
Love the video I had a similar idea of I never have to leave camp because of all the resources we have available now and you showed that well thank you sir 😊
I’m missing 2 things for my camp because I was in hospital for 3 months which is birthday cake and Mothman egg nest I’m going to see if Bethesda can add them to atom store for me to buy. My ultimate camp is at Aaronholt Homestead as that another place of cranberry and for dirt water I use the modern kitchen sink which I attached to the long modern kitchen unit merged with a cooker and cryo freezer so I have dirty water, cryo freezer, canned coffee and cooker all in one station just to be minimalistic saving space in my camp.
Nice location. The build is very "substance over style" which is cool in its own way. I dont have the patience to merge and build thematic camps like some dedicated builders do. Cant imagine spending like 15+ hours on a build when all I use my camp for is crafting and buffs.
Until seeing this video I didn't know that Luck could be stacked. Cool! But... I found is that if I first use the Bowling Arcade machine and then the fortune teller, Luck did not stack for me. BUT when I used the Fortune Teller first, then the Bowling Arcade machine, Luck stacked. Was that a fluke or did other players see that as well?
Oh ghee I thought the cake was just charisma. And didn’t know the cookie jar produced honey crisp, I wish Bethesda would make atom shop items that produce stand out from the decorative stuff.
I definitely prefer the cookie jar over the cake and coffee which are just stacking up in my inventory. You have to keep chugging those which is problematic on controller. Now give me some blackberry honey crisp and with my 3ap handmade I'm good for 90 mins.
@@AngryTurtle unfortunately that doesn't work on controller, or at least not on my pc. I really wish they allowed us to remap the stimpack key, hell the stimpack key doesn't even use diffusers.
Just wire up a pressure plate to your Rad scrubber then. You don’t have to switch it off and on, it’s automatic. And you don’t have to listen to that stupid noise forever.
I really wish you could make and share blueprints. Since building things like this takes a long time to go step by step. Would be amazing if the game had like a camp sharecode or something.
Fun :) you had the same idéa as me. Hope I wont be kicked out of my spot now everytime I log in haha :D Tho I like to just use the nice well to gain my water. Didnt know about the mutatan furn plant tho, thank you!
The one thing that I would imagine is critical for a Carnivore (as one myself) is a reliable source of squirrel bits. If you can do that, then squirrel stew is easy to make and everything else is gravy.
I do have one camp at a squirrel spawn point. Then I discovered that there are fast spawn points for animals when I put down a camp just north of Green Country Lodge and every single time I fast traveled back to my camp the mutts respawned. I don't use that squirrel spawn point camp so much anymore, thinking of replacing it with a thistle camp for the +50crit.

I love you man, but your CAMP is awful 😂 You know, all you have to do is ask and you could find someone to build you a really cool one right? Have you considered a collab with someone like Darth Xion?
Ah, Darth Xion. The guy whose channel hasn't grown by more than 1000 subs in the past 3 years because he can't stop talking about American politics. Sure, we should definitely take advice from that guy 😂😂😂

It's not pretty, but it could be somewhat improved with greenhouse wall and a roof or something, it already have dirt floor tiles, so it would fit.
for the ally issue, You can try to put it on a floating roof? wich could delay the moment when the ally reach it's structure.

Mole miner event. It also drops from mutated events. Last option is someones vendor, but usually 10k or more if people are greedy.
It might be the holdiay scorched events not the mole miner, it's one of them.
