Definitely glad that I took the time to watch your(Jordan & Leandra) interview with Lana. It's pretty clear to me now how deeply invested you were(personally/emotionally) into making Blame My Ex, and my oh my, it's a great one! I really like how you experiment musically with each new project. Blame My Ex is definitely your best LP right now, so much fun to listen to(repeatedly)! And yes, I also love listening to that other amazing and talented Canadian band Metric(with Emily Haines). Wishing you(The Beaches) much success with Blame My Ex! 👏🥳
I was searching UA-cam for live performance of edge of the earth! Couldn’t find it but happy to hear they love to play it so I’m sure it’ll be out soon enough. Hope to make it out to a show sometime
It's fascinating to hear about the inspiration for the songs and about the writing process. I'd like to know if Nick blushed when he first read/heard the lyrics of the song you wanted him to sing 😆
Okay girls...let me get this straight: You leave a major label and finance this new album on your own. That's a big scary step...was the result worth it? You better believe it. Let's just say this is by far your best and most accessible album to date...hands down. And by far the best production values to go with it...hands down. You mentioned people to thank but Lowell and Gus Van Go need to be high on that list! If leaving the major label left the team of JL and TB's heavy hand behind, believe me that was a good move. Coming from an audiophile, I was pleasantly shocked how great this record sounds--the band harmonies are just gorgeous on here. I definitely cannot say the same (audio quality) for most of the previous releases...JL production is sadly a bit too boomy & unbalanced on a high-end system. So...BB has already got the attention of a major influential LA radio station... and that's just the beginning. My personal favorite song currently varies between Cure meets Go-Go's rush of "Shower Beer" and the beautifully contemplative "If a tree Falls"...but *something* on this record is going to score big and launch you guys to the stratosphere. Proud to say I've been a US fan since DwD (likely one of the first) and I'm happy to say you've finally hit your stride in a big way! Oh and also when I missed you in Tampa for Innings due to surgery I mentioned to consider Riptide in FL...and you're going this year!!!
Prince once said that when he left Warner Brothers, he sold half as many albums and made twice as much money. That is not as relevant in the streaming era, but you get the idea.
Bold of you to assume that Eliza and Kylie would have wanted to be involved in this interview. Some artists just aren't interested in doing this kind of thing.
Maybe they just had something going on personally with their family or a dr appt? Sorry but your comment is just ignorant of the fact that people have lives outside of their professions. Can’t believe I’m wasting time even explaining this. LoL
These girls are so real and humble. Love their new album and this conversation. xx

Late show blows it away!
This album is actually a masterpiece, no skips on the whole damn thing.

I have a feeling that “What doesn’t kill you makes you Paranoid” must have been written by the sunglasses guitar player.
Leandra Earl??

😂 ohh it is a shame, that you have to break 💔 up, to make so wonderful songs..... Thx , Stefan 🤓 from Germany
You should have other band Members in for this interview 2 because u2 ain’t more special then the other 2 girls 🐥
I hate that shit!

This is the dumbest comment of the day. Congratulations 🎉
