I listen to Tom but I will say this...he is no Yelawolf. I think one of the appeals to Tom’s music is that he is rapping about the social constructs that exist today. In a media controlled environment, most of us were blown away that an artist like Tom would dare talk about racism, the music industry, cancel culture and more. So we gravitate to that kind of like a rebel against the system. I still to this day can’t get down with how he does his hooks. They are atrocious. I think if the world did not have all of these problems, Tom wouldn’t have most of the fans he has.
Craziest part is that Yelawolf is 41. He hasn't aged one bit in his looks. I agree 100% with the rant. His catalog will be among the best to ever do it when it's all said and done. His full length albums are even better than the singles imo.

I think Yelawolf just makes so many weird moves that people have a hard time connecting to it because they generally like artists to stay the same for years on end.

He takes a left turn now and then that’s not what most artist would do but he don’t roll that way..he does/works with what brings him joy with people he has fun with..that’s success!
