- A serene summer camp turns eerie when rumors spread of a Samsung phone, known as the Z Flip, that possesses an irresistible power over anyone who lays eyes on it.

It's a riff on horror movies. The girl at the beginning says that if you look at the phone it gets stuck in your mind and you have to switch, and they're reacting that way so they don't look at it and get compelled to switch. It's like The Bird Box.

Even though I have an iPhone I’m not of the “I would never switch…” camp but THIS ad is so awful it could make me refuse to switch. The actress is not to blame - it’s the staging, the camera angle and the quivering manic expression. Fire the ad team and director.

This advert does my head in on the tv. I turn it down so i can't hear the ring tone on it. I already have a samsung, but if i didn't, i certainly wouldn't buy one based on this annoying ad.
