When Reaper is being coded, they don't stop at one way to do things! I don't think there is a single computer program that is that customizable. BOW DOWN TO THE REAPER!
Unfortunately whole these things are useless if you have some automations or markers put in the session, because this item moving will ignore them all. I was hoping there will be some solution presented for that as well.
I import a lot of multitrack .wav files from my mixing desk and explode them to individual tracks which can have many empy tracks that I discard from Reaper but the files hang around cluttering my storage up. Is there a way to find and remove them in Reaper? Currently I have a power shell script that I have to run.

Are all files you want to delete stored in the project folder ? There is an action to delete all unused files for a given project. (You have to be careful not to delete files that might be used in other projects, if you use files in their original location or have several projects in a same folder.)
