Cool ride. Definitely didn't expect to see a climbing lane on that uphill grade. Pretty neat to see such a massive freeway converge back down to 2 lanes!
Thanks for the comment. The massive freeway converges back to two lanes way too quickly in my opinion. That said, the southern part of the 410 was pretty recently only a six lane highway.
Great video! Crazy to see how much the 410 has changed. My Grandparents used to live in Caledon, so we used to take that route about once or twice a year. Last time I went through there was nearly a decade ago.

@@ALuimes, some of the 400-series highways of Ontario replace parts of some routes: 417 replaces what used to be part of Highway 17 what seems to look like a freeway upgrade through Ottawa towards the Ontario Quebec border. 427 replaces the south portion of Highway 27 and as 427 goes west of Highway 27, it's an alternate route of Highway 27. 407 is an alternate route of both 401 and Highway 7 and is tolled. 420 is an alternate route of Highway 20 and is also a spur route of QEW through downtown Niagara Falls and to Rainbow International Bridge.
400-series highways of Ontario are numbered either numerically per debut (like 400, 401, 402, 403 and 405) or are alternate, replacement and/or freeway upgrade of another route with the last two digits same as the referring highway (like 407, 410, 417, 420 and 427). Don't mind QEW, despite it's part of the 400-series highways of Ontario.
