very impressive Russian military parade! I'm kind of a history geek, so I'll admit to having a fondness for the pre-1991 Soviet Army. The lock screen on my computer right now is the Soviet troops raising their flag over the Reichstag in Berlin at the end of WWII. The size of their sacrifice is hard to even comprehend.

Russia didn't start with a sword!
    Eduard Asadov
Russia did not begin with a sword,
It began with a scythe and a plow.
Not because the blood isn't hot,
    But because the Russian shoulder
Never in my life had malice touched me...
    And arrows ringing battles
They only interrupted her usual work.
No wonder the horse of the mighty Ilya
Saddled was the master of the arable land.
In the hands, cheerful only from work,
    Good-naturedly, sometimes not immediately
    Retribution surged. That yes.
But there was never any bloodlust.
And if the hordes won the upper hand,
Sorry, Russia, the troubles of the sons.
If not for the feuds of the princes,
Then how the hordes would have been slapped in the face!
But only meanness rejoiced in vain.
Jokes with the hero are short-lived:
Yes, you can deceive the hero,
But to win - that's just the pipes!
After all, it would be just as funny,
Like, say, fighting the sun and the moon.
    Tom's bail - Lake Peipsi,
    Nepryadva River and Borodino.
And if the darkness of the Teutons il Batu
Found the end in my homeland,
    The current proud Russia
A hundred times more beautiful and stronger!
And in the battle with the fiercest war
    She had overcome hell, too.
    Tom is guaranteed-hero cities
In the lights of fireworks on a festive night!
And that's how strong my country is forever,
That I didn't humiliate anyone anywhere.
After all, kindness is stronger than war,
How unselfishness is more effective than a sting.
The dawn rises, bright and hot.
And it will be so forever unbreakable.
Russia did not begin with a sword,
    And that's why she's invincible!

If it were not for Russian sacrifice and toughness in winter warfare, the Nazi might have conquered the world. The entire world should recognize what they accomplished. Although Russia and Britain might have both fallen without the industrial power of the USA supplying weapons to our allies. Yet nothing compares to the sacrifice of 27 million men. It’s extraordinary that they continued fighting and never surrendered like France.

      ^ ALL OF THIS.
1 out of 9 deaths in WW2 were Russian.
Their sacrifice is a debt that the world can never repay.

Let's also remember the Soviet Union was on the Nazi side until Hitler betrayed them.

I sympathize with the remembrance of sacrifices and lives lost during World War II. The prospective shown in the USA was of the Soviet Union preparing to overrun and conquer the world. Each year the month of May started with the May Day Parade and ended with the Indianapolis 500. As time progressed my fear that the Soviet Union would launch a first strike lessened. I do fear the maniacal schemes of other nations trying to force our nations into battle.

I trained in the US army in the late 80's to fight against the Soviet Army. Back then the Soviets were completely mobilized where we would have to march 100 miles to get places. We would watch their training and I was highly impressed how they would run thru burning battlefields and keep attacking. Later in the gulf we found their tanks couldn't compare to our M1 Abrams. But before that one of my happiest days was seeing the wall in Berlin come down. Still have a broken brick in a drawer somewhere lol. The Russians and Americans were doing great but now they use Russia for propaganda. Its pretty sad. I remember some of my Russian friends up here in Boston were happy Trump won back in 2016 thinking the doors would be open again but the politicians made it worse. I like Putin. He doesn't take shit and does what's right for his country. If you read this you have a very good channel and are very beautiful. Keep the vids coming.

Russian reacting to Russia being the most terrifying country in the world. I mean, I love Russian people, they are so kind and caring, yet ready to have drinking competition, but I'm afraid of their leaders politics. It is a juggernaut of a nation, with passionate people.

Hi, if you want something patriotic connected with music and history, I would advise you to react to some songs, for example "Sabaton -Panzerkampf" is about the battle of Kursk during the great patriotic war (as you Russians call WWII ), obviously seen from the sovetic point of view.
As another piece of advice from the same band I would say
"Sabaton - Night Witches (animated history video)", I don't want to reveal much here, but it is about Soviet female aviators during the Second World War, one regiment in particular, which was the most awarded.
Of these two songs there are also official covers, made by a Russian singer I really like, named Radio Tapok, in this case instead of the original English the songs are sung in Russian.
Hi, I hope that in the future you will react to these songs, a greeting from Italy.
