Really liking that Chord, but I think the wharny Pyrite is still my favorite of the bunch. Everyone seems to really like the Qubit, but that bottle opener thing... 😭 Just sets off the OCD a bit too much for me. And yeah, I agree, it would look so much better with a filler tab on that show scale. ✌️

I've heard of lots of people having issues with the civivi qubit button locks. If you don't put the right amount of pressure on the button lock, the blade will freeze on its way down and the knife won't close. Same thing with the Altus. Especially having issues with the aluminum scaled version. Have you had this issue with yours?
I think some of that has to do with timing/design of the lock. When depressing the button you are moving the plunge lock, If you release the button to early, the plunge interfaces with the Tang again before fully closed making the blade stop up. Try timing it in a sense. Let me no 🤜🤜💥
I dig that Chord. I definitely want the Qubit, and that Sentinel Strike Civivi just released. If they did that in Nitro-V it would have been an absolute smash. I’ll prolly go Damascus just for the stainless unless the K110 is heat treated perfectly. Oh the Mad Tanto is my most wanted tho right now. I’m also waiting for the special edition large Wharny Pyrites to start coming out.
The large wharny pyrites will be sick. I'm wondering if it'll be this year. Civivi messed up imo using k110.. just my opinion
@@GBall_Vision I’m honestly surprised it hadn’t released yet. I agree, they should easily use 14c or Nitro-v at the $88 price point too.

Hi, do you ever find yourself accidentally disengaging the button on the chord with your thumb? Is the button very recessed?
I would have to say in the most extreme/rarest occasions would that happen. I own over 20 and I've never had that happen. In a normal grip you won't have anything to worry about
