You got this bro. 2 years ago I met Stanley in Paris and had no idea who he was, now he’s a bigBLD god. Keep practicing/competing and you’ll get there 😉

    Great mindset dude 👏
Seeing the bit with you Sean was one of the highlights of the comp for me as well

Cheer up, you literally have no dislikes on the video! At least you made it to finals, that's an achievement of its own

I'm sorry you didn't perform your best. I would really love to see you actually average 9s consistently officially in oh. That would be so crazy. It's cool you are taking this well though! Next worlds hope to see some podiums :)

Ok Hi Kian, so obviously you are a much better and more experienced Cuber than me, I've only been to 8 comps, so idk how valid this "advice" is, but I had the same problems at my first couple comps. I got one bad or good solve, and the rest went downhill due to me thinking of that last solve or the last two solves, too much during my upcoming solves. This messed with my attention that I would otherwise put 100% of, at home, into my solve. So after one such dramatic fail in December last year, I decided I'll stop thinking. Have you seen Brody lassner's video where he talks about wiping away any thoughts you may have before starting an official solve, I do that all the time now. I approach every solve in competition with a new and neutral mindset, which results in me getting mostly around my global averages officially. This approach is less useful for scramble dependant events but is still useful. I personally was impressed with your performance, although we all know you could've done better, going from missing semis in 2017 to 11th at the comp with basically all the 3x3 talent in the world is no mean feat. Maybe you could try this, and who knows, you'll start averaging your global in comp too :)
    Peace

It was fun meeting up and hanging out! And the head to head with Sean was amazing to watch, the hug in the end was a great moment.

Great meeting you at the comp, even though it was brief! But don't beat yourself up mate, your time will come.

Hey don’t worry about your performance so much. You went to worlds and you still got a few things to be proud of. Besides it’s not about if you mess up, it’s about if you recover. From here on out I’m sure it will be onwards and upwards for you

Literally the same with OH (and kinda a lot of events). Almost very solve will have some sort of mistake that happen
    like 1/10 at home.
But the highlight of the video is 2:35
