  • @jonminer9891

Ah, Captain... I disagree. This is a stunt plane and will do all the tricks because it has a high lift wing and short body, which lets it fly both slowly and quickly. It will go from horizontal to vertical in 1/4 second or less! It can not only easily fly a loop, but it can also fly a square corner loop! It definitely does not need speed to fly.speed. In fact, if the wind speed matches its slow speed cruise, it can hover! When you have a wind, take it up, face it into the wind, and throttle down. You will discover that it might even fly backward! Fly it gently and land it slowly. Fly it fast and make it hop! Maybe it won't fly straight up with a 3 cell, I don't know. I hope you try to slow fly vertically and hover it like a helicopter. Probably it won't with that prop and battery, but hey... This plane can be flown by a beginner if he flys slowly and learns to land gently. But this plane will do what the expert pilot demands of it. Just learn the minimum speeds you need for each trick! If you fly too fast too soon, watch out! In 1/2 second this baby will go searching for the moles in your field!

another great video. Is the quarry a dolimite quarry?
That's what we have here on Drummond Island, Michigan. the background is great for lifelike videos, especially when you come up and out against the background of the tree's. You guy's are the best! Maybe I will put Slovenia on my bucket list. Captain Blaz noted that the last time you were in the quarry their were no leaves. Our leaves have just popped in the last few days, and its almost the end of May. I'm so ready to start flying this year!

The quarry makes the most dramatic backdrop ever to your flying, every time that you bank inside the quarry low down I wonder how you miss the rocky unwelcome surface, you must have good depth perception to fly like that, the Slow Poke is a great little model and is far from being slow,it looks and flies great, well done as ever for an entertaining video.

If the Slow Poke is like my Lazy Bee. It was meant for calm morning or evening flights. You can just putt-putt around almost to a crawl. My Lazy Bee doesn't do well in wind, but if you catch the wind just right it will appear to stop flying. Be mindful of the wind direction, it will push you in one direction and bring you to a crawl in the other direction. Flying in the wind can be fun. Just experiment at your own pace. That big glider we got LOVES the wind, it will climb for days in the wind. Some models cut the wind, others do not. I also fly with dual rates and expo. I have 3 position switches set at 100% travel/40% expo, 75/30, 50/25...

Great job on camera, Capt Blaz, and of course skillful scale-looking flying and advice, Pilot Robert. I think the nearby quarry walls and hills help with the auto-focus function of the camera. Plus, Capt Blaz zoomed the shit out of it against the terraces and it was spectacular. Bravo my friends! My slowpoke is still in the box as I am not yet qualified to fly it. Pilot Robert, I appreciate you showing your throws and expos settings. Way more conservative than I thought! Maybe I should do the same with my umx timber. Anyway,, my Slovene friends, thanks for sharing, from your friend and trainee pilot in Tennessee, USA.
