Off the top of my head mate, I think it's a custom 45' 28 herringbone with the big soundhole.. I have no idea what strings Bennett used but it gives off such a ricy tone doesn't it?

Seems people are uneducated with their "tony rice" comments. Its sad really that he is always compared to the man, yet his thought process, and his overall playing resembles nothing of Tony's. Matter of fact I lived with Richard for years, and thought the same at first until I learned a lot about his influences. Jerry Reed was huge in his inspiration. Richard plays mostly if not all down strokes, while Tony uses a lot of cross picking and up strokes mixed in. Richard also has a very different take on rhythm than Tony. Funny enough, I can easily tell them apart.
