There are no words to describe an authentic transcendent experience in a black church that ends in prophetic utterances and prophetic dances and miracles. That’s how I was raised. I know oh to well the praise and the later rejection that happens as a result of what you say that you see. They wanted prophecy as long as it made them feel good. I dont think back then they understood prophecy can also be used to challenge us and cause us to grow- which doesn't always necessarily feel good. But its for our good.

In the days of my Grandmother and some others. Those women and men didn't shoot blanks.They spoke what the lord said.Alot of those prophecies was rough. If you were in sin God showed them and they rebuke heavily. Even if they saw something was gonna happen trust me it came to pass. Until people was scared of our churches and leaders.
Was some Powerful Holy women of God.

I'm paper Bible saved & grew up (small Black churches,less than 50 members) seeing miracles I'm talking about tumors falling off, ppl coming outta wheelchairs, healings all around.👏👏👏
Ppl honored & respected God even if they weren't saved!!!💯🔥🔥🔥😂
