I was so little when the real Ed died and like when I saw The Conjuring I shipped them so hard and then I found out that Ed died in 2006 and I was so sad. And then I saw the Conjuring 2 and I was like “Ok, God, you can’t keep these two apart, what’s the deal here!” And then when it was announced, like two months before Annabelle Comes Home was released, that Lorraine Warren has died, I literally cried but wasn’t sad because now she’s reunited with Ed and I think that’s beautiful 🥰

To be honest, I don't remember hearing anything about them before the Conjuring. But then I did my research and, yes, when I read the news of Lorraine's death I thought "she's finally with Ed again". I think their relationship was beautifully translated to the screen, it's impossible not to care for them.
