Does Ice Pack Temperature Matter? Testing Freeze Temps 5°-32°F, Which Last Longer?

    I'd like to see the Engel 32° up against the old Engel 20°. I've found the 20° would prolong the ice for an extra day or so. Any ice melt would refreeze in that first day resulting in zero ice loss

    Were the ice packs all at the same starting temp, or were they all starting at their respective phase change temps?

      All were in a deep freezer for over 3 days and the deep freezer was steady -5°F. Needless to say, they hit the lowest they would go. I didnt hit them with an infrared thermometer like I should have, good call.

    Bro, can you do a test with one 5 pound Engel 5°F ice pack and one 5 pound Engel 32°F ice pack and pair them together in one cooler with ice and see how long it will last.
