This song just pulls me in so sweetly . When I think of the bridge I'm almost always so overwhelmed. The Northern Star, if visible in your night sky, does not move.
Other "stars" will rise and set throughout the day/night as the earth turns, rotating AROUND the northern star.
So in the old days, ppl used Northern stars as a kind of compass to figure their direction
