This is his contract year. Normally players have a good year during contract year. He will thrive in Zimmer's defense

My issue with Osa has always been the second half of the season, in his 3 years in the league he has 9 sacks but only 2 in the second half of the season. Last year he got 3 in 2 games, and everyone was fired up, then 0 for the rest of the season. He got 13 QB hits so maybe with Zimmer's having the QB's hold the ball longer he can finally get more than his career high of 4.

I’ve been a fan of Osa from the get go, and I agree that this will be, barring injury, his breakout season. 💙💙💙

Love the breakdown and analysis... Mike Zimmers defensive will be good against the run, but I worry deep shots down field... can Dallas still be the top scoring defense this year?
I Saw that this video suggested a few of my videos to some of your viewers. HMU if you ever want to collaborate. Keep up the great work 🤘

No Sir Osa is a Gem.
He may have taken a step back in Stats but not in his overall impact

Someone who knows football. He was playing out of position at 4-3 defense. He needs to be a 3-4 DE where he still serves like a 4-3 DT but with the personnel we have and a good scheme guy as DCordinator he can focus on stopping the run and still have cleaner opportunities to get after the QB unnoticed. This also allows Micah to have his wish at being more versatile in coverage and stopping the run as an outside LB in a 3-4 similar to what D.Ware was for us where he can still at anytime come off the edge and get after the QB which will also help him against players holding him by making it more obvious when they do maybe to get more calls. DLaw OSA and the rookie Kneeland are all 3-4 DEs because of their inside outside versatility stopping the run 1st but then off that we know they are all good pass rushers. What this also does is allow players like Clark play the other outside LB opposite Parsons with the size and speed to at times come off that other edge allowing his versatility at ONE position where he can like Parsons edge rush stop run and cover. Which I think Sam Williams should learn in a back up role bc he needs more snaps allowing him to slowly learn the LB position more like a JPP for that Bucs Championship team when they had Suh in the middle. Serving more as an edge rusher from outside LB but learning how to use his versatility or bulk up and play full time DE in rotation with the others. Then our future 2 middle LBs should be Overshown and the rookie after learning from Kendrick but of course right now Kendrick as a starter inside wit Overshown in the 3-4. Bland and Diggs needs to be locked up with Parsons in contracts those our main three generational talents till they retire. And I’d love Bell to learn from Donovan Wilson to keep those LB skills at saftey while using his height and speed in coverage making instinct plays on the ball and for Juanyeh to learn from Hooker to be solid like him but a lil more of a ball hawk. We finally have all the right pieces to be a dynasty contract wise and players versatile talents and abilities complimenting eachother for a long time bc we very young again with experience as well. THIS IS THE LOOK FOR THE DEFENSE and we have all what we need with the exception of adding one more DT in a rotation role with Mozi a vet to help push him would be nice.
Same young ability on OFFENSE! If I could only choose 3 to pay well and lock up it would be Lamb and the Oline lol. The draft reminds me of when we got Fredrick and Martin I think I’m back to back yrs if I’m not mistaken. Oline was nasty when Fredrick was at center. I think BeeBe becomes like them and I hope Guyton can become anything close to what healthy prime Tyron Smith was like. Along with Tyler Smith this Oline can be one of the best we’ve once been known for getting our identity back. Loosing Dak might not be such a bad thing after seeing these new age QBs coming in with their athleticism and taking the lg to a new place I hope Trey Lance can learn behind Dak like I think Love learned from Rogers in Green Bay. If so all we’d need to do is draft WR and RB and we on our way (future) but the online is key to prove that Zeke can have flash backs of what it used to be and prove some ppl wrong for now.

Zimmer will get our defense to stop the run. He will bring out the beast in Osa. Sacks are a small part of a defensive lineman's job and not what a defensive lineman's performance should be based upon. Stopping the run is the first priority.

I do expect improvement from the D starting with the DL. IMO, our DL group did not improve under DQ. He was more if the mad scientist type and didn't run a scheme specific approach. Yes, we got production out of our DL but i did not notice anyone utilize techniques that they didn't use their rookie year. Micah included. Chauncey got bigger but they all play the same.

    Not really. It's Mazi Smith.
