Matt, really wish you would quit complaining about the bathroom doors on the Newmar. As a Newmar owner, I can tell you that the door is very practical and functional. The key is to close to close the door behind you. Yes, it obstructs when it is open, but no need to leave it open. The purpose is to allow for easy access to the bathroom when the slides are in.
This is a FANTASTIC motorhome! There is not much I don't like about it... except the price. I'm even OK with the carpet! This unit has EVERYTHING I would want in a motorhome for full-time RV-ing. Thank you for presenting this Ventana. I love it!
Matt we love your reviews everytime a new one comes out we Canadians in Toronto gather around and have beers and pretzels. During our beer drinking session we have a suggestion. Carry a small towel it might help with the various temperatures inside these units your reviewing. Best RV reviewers on UA-cam. People starting to bite your styles folks.
Hey Matt & Andrea... Love your reviews... BTW, FYI, the dishwashers have been redesigned.. They no longer open by knocking.. You must push the "on" button. the 1st button on the left, to open the door. The knock thing didn't work because a coach going over a couple of bumps in the road might cause the door to inadvertently fly open.. So they changed how it opens.. Keep up the great work..
This is a very nice couples coach. The walkway is very tight with the slides in. The half bathroom door does not bother me. Then again, I don't have that type of door in my RV. The main bathroom is awesome! The driver and buddy seats look very nice. Great video guys!. Thanks for sharing.
Had a 2017 VTDP 4369. Loved it and traveled over 45,000 miles in it. Ordered a Dutch Star 4081 and waiting delivery. Newmar will probably never get rid of the slide out carpet and put a side radiator on the Ventana. Otherwise you have a Dutch Star. But it is really a great coach despite the carpet and rear radiator.
We looked a this unit back in January of 2021, (NIRVC) in Las Vegas. Unfortunately they would not come down any lower than 19% off the MSRP. We then went to the Tampa R V show last year and saw the, 2022 Dynamax Force 37 TS HD and fell in love with it. We ordered it last February and we are hoping it will be here sometime this month.
Love these reviews. This one is definitely out of our price range, but I still enjoy watching. Not sure why the RV industry is still using the darker wood cabinetry, even in these high-end RVs. BTW, Enigma machine: Complex cryptographic device used by the Germans in WWII.
This motorhome is just about as perfect as it gets, in my opinion. I would probably choose different wood colors and instead of a sleeper sofa, I would see if they could put a desk in its' place. I have to say I agree with Matt and Andrea about the half bath door, but I understand why it's there. There's not enough wall space for a pocket or sliding door and I could live with it. Great living area, great kitchen, fridge, pantry, dishwasher, stackable w/d, lots of closet space, plenty of drawers, lots of other interior storage as well as outside storage. I'll never be able to afford something like this, but this is awesome! Thanks for showing us this beautiful unit and Happy New Year, Matt and Andrea!
That 1/2 bath door is like that so it will open for access when the slides are in.(besides Matt, who uses the bathroom with the door open). When you do another Newmar video, the fancy wooden inlays that are on the vertical slide out ends are held in with magnets for easy removal to clean the mirrors, it's a great feature.
Wow, love the floorplan. LIkes: exterior paint, flag holder, pull out tray and pass thru storage, passenger seating area, bath and half, wind sending awning, king bed, televator tv, ...so many things to like. Dislikes: Induction cooktop, no oven and I can't afford it. Almost a perfect RV, no deal-breakers.
I don't dislike the bathroom doors as much as Matt does. However, that narrow walkway with the slides in would be a deal-breaker for me. Great layout otherwise.
I agree with your likes and dislikes. Likes: Full length awning, removable cooktop, and ginormous CCC. Dislikes: Slam latch doors that don’t latch, dangerous step down from the rear bathroom, and the front entry door traffic will tear up the front passenger seat.
Very nice class A motorhome! the induction cooktop comes out so you can take it outside! the bathroom door isn't weird it's so when the slide-outs are in you can access the bathroom with full access lol try it out when you close it up next time Matt! lol great video as always..
Did you watch this video? She did try to get in with the slides in and couldn’t. Removing the tiny shelves and putting in a pocket door would be a great improvement.
@Jim Davenport she didn't try to get in! she opened it and said this weird door again, and continued back to Matt lol I've been in a few newmars when I was looking to buy a 4369 and believe me when I say it's easy to go in with this door construction! There is no place for a pocket door as it would need a wall for it to slide in, and there's no wall because there's a kitchen on one side and a bed on the other side lol
The head splitter tv isn't necessary / another passenger seat that wont recline, its a nice enough coach - its just not useable when the slides are in, I cant imagine seating 2 to 3 extra ppl while driving down the road.
Love the table between individual chairs. Love the tv’s. Love the cabinets color. Love the floor. Love the table desk & chairs. Better not great valances.
I just purchased $200 of bitcoin I should be close to getting this very soon. It's so nice I can't criticize it. I even loved the clock and the art deco painting.
Doors with slam latches; slam, slam latches. Nice emergency exit, better than a little window. Nice it is all electric. Thank you for sharing and have a great day.
Yay!!! Finally a RV and floor plan I absolutely love. Yes, the door to the front bath is somewhat annoying but overall a 10. I also love the peninsula!! Woohoo finally
Nice looking 'destination' bus but the slides have to be out to actually use everything except the bed so it wouldn't be great for traveling - just for driving.
Great review! I love this motorhome. The only thing I would change if I had to order this motorhome are the cabinet colors and the dinette. I like the Glacier Glazed Maple instead of the Newport Glazed Maple. I also prefer the K550 option for the Euro Booth Dinette (non-sleeper). However, I could easily live with this motorhome as is.
Such an amazing video. I really enjoyed watching it. You cover exactly what I wanted to know with no boring details. I love this motorhome! I would prefer a large single bowl sink, and gas cooktop. I don't like the door to the half bath. I would opt for a top-fill washer. I am so glad it has a dishwasher drawer. The bathroom is FABULOUS.
What a great coach. The basement storage is darn near perfect. Great quality on the cabinets and finishes. Love the cockpit! Great layout. Only complaint I would have is how narrow it is with the slides in. Also take advantage of Matt’s zoom call if you are ready to get an RV. Matt helped us this fall and it was an amazing experience and helped us get a great deal with these crazy market conditions.
Very nice!! Is it possible to make a custom floorplan with motorhome manufacturers?? If so which manufactures? I need two full bathrooms, bunks and a garage!
Sometimes life is a trade off and you have to give something to get something. I would totally trade a traditional bathroom door for the slightly awkward one in this coach if it means I don’t need a shoe horn to get into the bathroom without pulling out the slide 😊 Love that big pantry with slide out drawers ❤️ And I LOVE that Matt noticed that Andrea’s dress matched the picture in the bedroom! There’s nothing I saw that I couldn’t comfortably live with. Great review, Great motor home!
I love that your reviews seem spontaneous like you are seeing the inside for the first time and that sometimes you have trouble opening a cabinet or the sofa. I don't like scripted reviews. (the cheesecake was nice also ;)
I’m cracking up at it’s not DaVinci’s code lol this is a gorgeous coach! Love recliners, tv placement, bedroom, master bathroom. Your saying it’s not fancy but I think the shower is pretty. It looks like marble so there’s that lol one thing I’ll say negative and there may be other color choices….but I wish they would use more grays instead of beige’s and creams. Also I didn’t care for that weird little design element it seemed like something from the 80’s. But gorgeous overall!
LIKE THE LAYOUT THE MASTER BATHROOM THE COLORS THE WASHER AND DRYER DON’T LIKE THE COOKTOP IT NEEDS FOUR BURNERS THE MASTER BED SIZE IT NEEDS TO BE A QUEEN SIZE BED THE 1/2 BATHROOM DOOR THE CARPET
Hi Matt and Andrea! I love this coach! I just don’t like the bathroom door and the carpet in the slide out. My likes are the big bedroom. The shower the fact you pick the colors you want for paint. It’s a great New Mar. Thank you Matt and Andrea! Happy New Year to you both!
Question... with all of the coach, rv, trailer reviews there is one thing I have not heard. What is the charging power rating for the tower of powers / usb ports in the units? I ask because with the newer phones they need a 2.1A - 5.0A connection to charge in a decent amount of time. I have a Galaxy S10 Note 5G and have tested my charging times. 1.0A - cant use phone and it will take 5+ hours if dead. 2.0A - can use but it still will take 3 hours from dead 2.1A - about 2 hours from dead 3.0A - about 45 min from dead These can vary depending on the watts which can vary from 2.5w standard usb to 100w usb c. I have to keep a 50w / 3A charging port with me as most USB ports in hotels are only 1 -2A /5w which id be lucky to get my phone charged using them over night. With all the tech those power ratings would be great to know.
I really REALLY wish I could get an RV. If I could, I definitely would travel to Florida to buy from you guys. I know you say you can help out anywhere, but it gives me a great reason to do a vacay in Florida. 😁 I LOVE ❤️ the outside paint job. LIKES: floor plan is great, adjustable shelves, and interior color/decor DISLIKES: 1/2 bath door, couch/bed, and little doors on either side of the bed (drawer would be better)
Beautiful floorplan! I only have two dislikes. The almost impossible travel access for a diesel motorhome meant to travel the country is very disappointing. Also, that two burner cooktop with no oven is unacceptable for an almost $500,000 motorhome because rich people like to cook too☹️
I love, love, love this motorhome, but I could never buy one because of that horrible, horrible, horrible carpeting on the slide which is placed in a high traffic area!
A real entrance. Not sneaking bye passenger seat. Making it easier to get in and out in case of a fire. And especially when loading and unloading. The size and price schould include it. Unless its supposed to be a mobile safe house.
Hey Mat and Andrea, love your reviews. If I could make a suggestion, try not to whip the camera around so quickly as it makes it difficult for the viewer. I get you guys sometimes do a lot of these in one day - there’s a lot to see! But if you slow down just a bit it would make a world of difference to the viewer. Two people talking to each other live while turning back and forth or pointing up and down is a significantly different visual than someone watching via video and fast up/down and sideways/circular camera angles can make it difficult to watch. Thanks and look forward to all your 2022 reviews!
Hey Andrea I saw you and Matt on the cover of RVBlogger magazine. You guys looked fabulous. I hope and pray you guys(The Team) have a wonderful 2022, nothing but success. Cheers!!!
I also find the half door annoying. If I had the money, I would put the second sofa in to not use the other one as a bed. After a couple of failures it would be ripped out and on the side of the road. 😜
20:13 WOW you almost pulled that table out of the track... easy with the opening and closing.
Some of us leave the door open when using the bathroom, might be what he is getting at.
Great floor plan and Coach. The Ventana has continually improved just wish Newmar would go to side mounted radiator!
Why?
They do, you have to go up to a Dutch star and above.
When are RV manufacturers going to start supporting couples who work from the road with a separate office/work space?
It would be nice if some of the bigger ones offered the option of an office space instead of bunk beds or a half bath.
They do it's a 4334.
Hailing from sunny side Tampa "THE DOOR SMASHER"
Love the fact that you included the options list. 🤗👍🏻😉
This is a FANTASTIC motorhome! There is not much I don't like about it... except the price. I'm even OK with the carpet! This unit has EVERYTHING I would want in a motorhome for full-time RV-ing. Thank you for presenting this Ventana. I love it!

Hate small double sinks. Nice bedroom. Love the bathroom. Not too dark. Didn’t see a toilet paper holder in bathroom.

That's the nicest RV I've seen on your channel this year!
Very nice class A motorhome! the induction cooktop comes out so you can take it outside! the bathroom door isn't weird it's so when the slide-outs are in you can access the bathroom with full access lol try it out when you close it up next time Matt! lol great video as always..

Love the table between individual chairs. Love the tv’s. Love the cabinets color. Love the floor. Love the table desk & chairs. Better not great valances.
I'll never understand the sofa infront of the TV
I just purchased $200 of bitcoin I should be close to getting this very soon. It's so nice I can't criticize it. I even loved the clock and the art deco painting.
Love this motorhome. Beautiful paint job and nice floor plan. Only wish there was no carpet. It takes away from the elegant look of the floor.
Exactly
Did Newmar remove the header that used the space in the upper cabinets?
Gotta love the Spartan CB and Chassis. Just like my old Fire Truck.
Doors with slam latches; slam, slam latches. Nice emergency exit, better than a little window. Nice it is all electric. Thank you for sharing and have a great day.
Comfort Drive and passive steer would be nice but unless your full time why pay more when a Phaeton will do.
Yay!!! Finally a RV and floor plan I absolutely love. Yes, the door to the front bath is somewhat annoying but overall a 10. I also love the peninsula!! Woohoo finally
Are you, Chewbacca and Andrea going to be at the show in Tampa. I love this RV and will see you there.
Actually love the simple colors, floor plan. My 07 Coachmen Sportcoach Elite has more walk through room, when the slides are in.....
Having the stinky slinky connection next to the fresh water would end my consideration for this unit no mater the price.
Great review of a wonderful coach! Saving up for it. Thanks Matt & Andrea!
Nice looking 'destination' bus but the slides have to be out to actually use everything except the bed so it wouldn't be great for traveling - just for driving.

And he does it with a lot of personality
Great Review Matt and Andrea. Beautiful coach inside and out. 👍
You need to close the front door keep the cool air in!
I’m really liking the Newmar line! Very pretty!
Beautiful 😍
Deal breaker for me is when the slides are in the couch and recliners are to close to each other for use.
Likes: all electric option, stackable washer/dryer, master bedroom/bathroom
Dislikes: dishwasher, carpet, dinette
Great coach!
Great layout what a difference in fit and finishes
What a great coach. The basement storage is darn near perfect. Great quality on the cabinets and finishes. Love the cockpit! Great layout. Love the Ventana (pronounced “ven-TAH-nah”)! It is waaaay to tight when the slides are in. Thanks for the review!
Great review Matt and Andrea. Absolutely love the floor plan but that bathroom door is a big NO!!!
Very nice!! Is it possible to make a custom floorplan with motorhome manufacturers?? If so which manufactures? I need two full bathrooms, bunks and a garage!
Matt is there a sleeper dinette available?
MOJO? Charge for lizard?or is it included?
Andrea is proof that there still good women out their!!
Sometimes life is a trade off and you have to give something to get something. I would totally trade a traditional bathroom door for the slightly awkward one in this coach if it means I don’t need a shoe horn to get into the bathroom without pulling out the slide 😊
Love that big pantry with slide out drawers ❤️
And I LOVE that Matt noticed that Andrea’s dress matched the picture in the bedroom!

Great review, Great motor home!
It’s just crazy how much these things cost. They’re unachievable for most people

Dislikes dishwasher, living room chairs, prefer recliners. Everything else is likes

I have a 2004 Safari Zanzibar 40813.
Those are great coaches
@@gregtroublemaker1862 yeah, which is why I’ve had mine since 2005. I waited a year to get mine so the price would drop.
Nice coach!!!!!!
Happy new year.
Come to iowa
Beautiful vehicle ❤💥🎊🎈🌴🌲🌵💃🕺
Nice review for those who can afford this thing.
A real entrance. Not sneaking bye passenger seat. Making it easier to get in and out in case of a fire. And especially when loading and unloading. The size and price schould include it. Unless its supposed to be a mobile safe house.

haha ...unfolds the couch and starts sweating profusely
Matt loves slam latch doors, but none of them ever close properly, lmao
You wrote at the beggining "venetana" and it is "ventana"
Note to self, next review, pull the coach out of it's parking spot away from the curb and trees. :)
I’ll take 2
Not a million dollars, whew, that’s a relief.😁
Can u guys talk about newmars shity bedroom doors.
Matt please dont go To the rv show next week. You risk getting covid
The 10 tires alone cost $9K. It is good to be rich.
I believe it only has 8 tires. But I agree they are expensive!
Dude where’s the lizard??
It was the GEICO gecko reminding them that they could bundle and save on RV insurance!
Very nice. Too much cabbage for me
I hate the carpet, the rest is awesome
This has been driving me crazy: why do you say "prime pooping position" is 4 P's? Prime (1) Pooping (2) Position (3). WHAT IS THE FOURTH P?!
Porcelain is the first and most important P in the 4P's. Porcelain Prime Pooping Position cause a plastic one don't count
Two "p"s in "pooping"
RV One out of NY in the news, and not in a good way either.
👍
Hey Andrea I saw you and Matt on the cover of RVBlogger magazine. You guys looked fabulous. I hope and pray you guys(The Team) have a wonderful 2022, nothing but success. Cheers!!!
No carpet, please.
Nice camper. Lose the dishwasher though.
I also find the half door annoying. If I had the money, I would put the second sofa in to not use the other one as a bed. After a couple of failures it would be ripped out and on the side of the road. 😜
