In my house we shopvaced a snake. My dad was in Canada and there was a snake stuck in our washing machine. Us ladies were all freaked out and the (empty) shopvac sounded like the best option. Mom had the hose. My sister was in charge of the power button and I flung the door open when they ran with the vacuum. They just dumped it outside and he left.
