Both his older brothers in prison, and they never even spoke to each other when growing up and Dave always tried to get all 3 to connect as there dad wasn’t there and both good locked up. One brother still got 8 years left, and other got 7 left.
Ok, so the short story of his brother is that there was a pre planned fight that happened at a train station where two rival schools got into it & weapon were brought. Dave's brother was there when a 15 year old who wasnt really involved but had come along ended up getting surrounded and stabbed to death. Everyone who was involved got sentenced for murder even if they didn't actually kill him under a law called "Joint Enterprise" which is why he said even someone who wasnt there got 16 years because I think they had been a part of planning the fight. The police say that they believe Dave's brother was the main one with the knife that killed him although people dont believe this is true. He got the longest sentence of 18 years minimum.
