My daughter has diarrhea and she is vomiting, but no fever... and I can see that she is teething. We went through the same experience with our first child. This too shall pass.
This is the biggest question right now although I am a medical professional. however I am really confused right now cause my baby is already on the line. done with HEMATOLOGY TEST, U/A, DRT, BLOOD CS . and my baby has only Fever symptoms above 37.5 to 38.9. now I am being skeptical of this "Fever Myth and research since all I can read in every comments of every videos and webpages, their babies are having fever. I can strongly defy or believe not in every research is Feasible or sufficient enough to prove something, in Fact I rather create a research that almost 90% I scanned and investigate that Teething can eventually make a baby fussy with high grade fever. Please do Like this comment to see how many really agree with me with this. thank you
I agree with the scientists, I first thought that my child is teething at 3 months, but at 7 months still no teeth. There are just phases when baby is grumpy, and when it coincides with teeth coming in everyone blames the teeth. But this report wasn't very detailed on the findings I would expect reporters to do more research and to share the findings more accurately. How else can the public get a better understanding of science?
It hurt like a bitch when my wisdom teeth were coming in, so I can imagine having 20 teeth come in before the age of 3 really hurting a little baby who also hasn’t really ever experienced pain, and pain is inherently a private experience that can only be quantified by asking the patient to do his or her own number assignment, and you can’t ask a baby to rate their pain.
Centuries of moms and caregivers are apparently wrong and the majority of babies have the same "concurrent illness" that just happens to coincide with teeth erupting? Come on. My son is 6 months and just had his first tooth erupt and he is most definitely in pain and discomfort. What a hack
Lmao. From the science part of it. When teeth are shoved thru your gums as a tiny baby and you don’t know why your in pain and it’s scary and painful but ok ya we’re not sure about that. 😂
RIGHT. This is why some approaches to be scientific are ridiculous. They are not grounded in reality. After thousands of years there's no scientific evidence that teething causes discomfort? That's crazy. And I think a lot of doctors would disagree with what this pediatrician said.
My baby has 4 visible teeth at 2 month it does hurt them umm adult wisdom teeth ouch! I agree with teething helps the jaw but double that it helps pain so it’s both. This was 9 years ago so i am stating more updated correct information here.
Actually the other non-homeopathic drugs are way more dangerous for infants. Downright harmful. I'd never give them to infants for something like teething.
When my wisdom teeth came in, it was a lot of pain. So I can imagine, its the same for babies.
That's literally what brought me here. Bottom wisdom tooth erupting now and giving me pain, annoyance and a slight headache. So I agree.
make sure the teething rings aren't made from toxic plastic.

My baby also has diarrhea and just a general sense of unwellness. My previously patient sleeper now stays up all night crying and cant get any relief

I’ve read in several different places that teething symptoms can begin about 2-3 months prior to actually getting teeth.
My baby cousin is teething and she isn't really sobbing too much. She likes to try to eat my shirt though..

Dr. Dummy
Do babies have fever when they are teething?
Yes
Nope
I think you got your answer. It is a YES and a NO.
I would think so when the whole bottom of their face is in excruciating pain, of course the pain would cause a headache
CNN in 2020: *"BABY DIES FROM TEETHING"*
