Sunfyre died 1 month later because of that wound
Vhagar was not larger than Meraxes: Tyrion compared the skulls long after both had died, and the skull of Meraxes was larger. This suggests that more powerful dragons grow more quickly, which goes a long way towards justifying Daenerys having three huge monsters in less than a decade. Seasmoke should be about twice the size of Tessarion: the Blue Queen was one third the size of Vermithor, and Vermithor was as large as the two of them combined. Syrax, Caraxes, and Meleys should be larger than Tessarion, Sunfyre, and Dreamfyre: Rhaenys (the rider of Meleys) stated that Rhaenyra's three main dragons were larger than any dragon controlled by Aegon II, except for Vhagar. The Cannibal should be a little smaller than Vhagar and Vermithor, not the same size as Balerion. Vhagar was the largest living dragon during the Dance of the Dragons, and after Vhagar died, it was Vermithor. The Cannibal outlived both dragons, so he couldn't have been any larger--unless, of course, everyone was too scared of him to get close enough for an accurate measurement.

Meraxes was always larger than Vhagar, even if Vhagar lived a thousand years longer. Some dragons are just bigger than the others and they do not grow at the same speed. Meraxes was the second biggest dragon in Westeros.
@@Complexcore-lz8de No, I´m sorry but I am right and you are wrong. It´s really very easy: Time of Conquest: Balerion is bigger than Meraxes and Meraxes is a bit bigger than Vahagar. Meraxes died aka. no more growth. Balerion died 100yrs AC = Biggest ever. Vhagar died 130 AC = As big or almost as big as Balerion at the time of the conquest and second biggest Dragon ever. Meraxes would have been just that but he lacked 130 yrs of growth ... cause it was dead. The Tyrion chapter is a mistake by Grrm OR Tyrion is just referring to the size of the skull! Which could have been bigger than Vhagars, but not the Dragon itself. Both Dragons were born around the same time on Dragonstone, there is absolutly no way that the 130 yrs of Growth wouldnt have made up for the slight difference in size at the time of the conquest. That would mean that Vhagar grew almost nothing in 130 yrs ... but its Grrm mistake, he mixed stuff up more than once, which is completly understandable though.
@@Complexcore-lz8de Always remember that he wrote the first book in 95/96. He most likely changed things around, when he decided that one Dragon had to die during the conquest and that Dragon was Meraxes. Its all made up in his mind and people make mistakes, it´s fantasy after all :)

I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that some of the smaller dragons that could barely allow for a rider to ride them and yet drogon, viserion and raeghal become absolutely massive whilst only being a couple or so years older, captivity can't be the reason because viserion and raeghal were both much larger than moondancer for instance but were around the same age, massive growth spurt is the most likely but even then idk
In the book the dragons did progressively become smaller every genration. Perhaps due to their captivity or inbreeding? We don't know where Dany's eggs came from so they might be genetically diverse and we know she never confined them untill she reached Mareen.
The more magic there is in the world, the faster and larger the dragons in the world grow. When magic is strong in the world, dragons can grow as large as monsters like Balerion and Vhagar who were around during old Valyria. After the doom, magic started leaving the world and dragons grew smaller and slower with each generation until finally the last dragon could only grow to the size of a dog. When Daenerys hatched her dragon eggs she brought back magic into the world too for the first time since the doom, so her dragons grow much faster and much larger than any dragons seen in generations due to there being a lot of magic in the world again. It's also speculated that Daenery's dragons are Balerion, Meraxes and Vhagar reborn so they also have that going for them.

I think the Most Powerful Dragons ( Battle Dragons ) would grow quicker than others however here are some hypothesis acc to GOT info : (1) Dragons would keep growing in size as they would age .Thus even a weaker Dragon with time could match in size with Battle Dragon . (2) As they aged , Dragons Fire & Armor became better . The fire would become more intense & the natural Armor more thicker . (3) Probably their speed would increase too as those dragons aged . (4) All this was dependant on Nutritional Consumption of each dragon . The last Dragon was only served Food Amount equal to a Dog & kept chained ! Thus it wouldn't exercise & grow bigger .

What’s annoying about Danny dragons is that there so much bigger then other dragons like seasmoke but drogon is only 8-9 years old and seasmoke is like 30
Actually, JJRM planed to give an extra 5 years to let the dragons grow larger, but finally he gave up this plan. At the end of Book 5, the dragons are bout the same size as a horse.
I think it is said the Cannibal was larger than Balerion
I love that mynameisme has hearted all the negative comments like ‘you stole this’. 🤣🤣🤣
Meraxes was always larger than Vhagar, even if Vhagar lived a thousand years longer. Some dragons are just bigger than the others and they do not grow at the same speed. Meraxes was the second biggest dragon in Westeros.
wrong it is said that Vhagar was almost as large as Balerion when she died
@@vitanus No you are the one who is wrong. When tyrion compared the skulls of meraxes and vhagar, meraxes's skull was larger then vhagar's
@@vitanus oh I see
@@Complexcore-lz8de Always remember that he wrote the first book in 95/96.
At that time, he did not think about a backstory of each Dragon. none of what we have today was planned out by him in detail.
Later on he added stuff, changed things around and such.
He most likely changed things around, when he decided that one Dragon had to die during the conquest and that Dragon was Meraxes.
Its all made up in his mind and people make mistakes, it´s fantasy after all :)
I've the fact that the water mark doesn't let us read a f$$%ck of the text... kudos
What kind of am I or program?
What the name of theme on 4:09 to 5:37
Song?
How big was DU Recorder?
Where did u get this video from it’s really good
Just found it online.
I saw the original video few months back. Couldn’t find it now even in my history list on UA-cam
The size of Ghiscar, Valryon, Vermithrax, and Essovius is pure conjecture.
Wow I wonder if balerion was also in Series he alone would have taken whole army of dead
Yup. You are absolutely right
It's said he was able to swallow a mammoth so yeah, guess he could
@@Mynameisme you did not reply my question... which software do you use?
Nah a singular ice bolt to the guy seems to do the trick
He would've bitten undead Viserion in half with one bite
You gotta keep captions away from your watermark. I couldn't read half of them with "DU RECORDER" in the way.
R.I.P GOT Franchise
It's back
What would’ve been interesting if two of the dragons were able to speak in high Valerian
If we ever see Baöerion in a series that would be so epic
A dragon named Quicksilver? What? I hope he wasn't killed by bullets then
this came out 1 year ago ;-; wow
and I'm surprised the dragons still grow
Damn, Emilia Clarke is short af
Who else is here after watching the 1st episode of HOTD?
Genious to put the watermark direktly over the text
1 ano: stormcloud 0:58
1 ano e 6 meses: greyghost 1:10
2 anos: vermithax 1:32
3 anos: rhaegal 2:10
4 anos: drogon 3:15
5 anos: dreamfyre 4:15
6 anos: meraxes 4:26
I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that some of the smaller dragons that could barely allow for a rider to ride them and yet drogon, viserion and raeghal become absolutely massive whilst only being a couple or so years older, captivity can't be the reason because viserion and raeghal were both much larger than moondancer for instance but were around the same age, massive growth spurt is the most likely but even then idk
It was a mistake from the showrunners
In the book the dragons did progressively become smaller every genration. Perhaps due to their captivity or inbreeding? We don't know where Dany's eggs came from so they might be genetically diverse and we know she never confined them untill she reached Mareen.
Dragons in capacity and cages grow smaller.
Ancalagon the black: you babies
FYI: Drogon is a teen. He'll grown bigger, maybe as big as Vhagar.
So is size like genetical?
This sizes of dragons are ants compared to Ancalagon The Black
that nokia ringtone at 5:06 😂
Artist???
The blue dragons look the besg
Pretty sure Balerion was way bigger than all the others. He was the only one born before the fall of valyria.
He was the largest tamed dragon but it is assumed him and cannibal were of equal size and well cannibal was older and ate other dragons instead so it would make sense if he was larger then balerion
@@magnusthered4973 Lmao you mean you assumed they were equal in size? Cannibal is absolutely not older either.
@@magnusthered4973 No, Vhagar was said to be not quite as large as Balerion, and after her death Vermithor was said to be the largest dragon in Westeros, so Cannibal couldn't have been larger Balerion.
Good job with the watermark covering half the text....
How did they manage to kill a huge dragon like dreamfyre in the dragon pit? He was much bigger than dragon, did they bring balista inside the dragon pit?
Dreamfyre was killed because she flew into the dome above and was crushed by it she was not kill by the people who stormed the dragonpit.
@@raymondmckay6990 thanks for the information
Drogon would have grown as balerian but the series ended when drogon was just 4 years old and balerian was nearly 200.
He still will grow like Balerion but we wont see it unless they make a sequel series
Why do all the dragons have the same last name of DU RECORDER?
The descriptions were covered by the logo. Very frustrating.
What if they all were still alive? 😶
Du Recorder is the largest dragon
Here after watching house of dragons 🐉
I like the part where I can't read the full description because of an effing watermark.
You forgot to include Smaug
Arrax belonged to Lucerys not Rhaenyra. And Arrax was smaller than Jacaerys dragon
Could anyone tell me the largest dragon in Fantasy?
ancalagon i guess....
@@harshsingh-st2qz that's from Lord of the rings...do you think we'll get to see him in the upcoming movies/series?

@@arkaanlazarus Difficult to create using cgi.... He was as big as mountain so...
I think the Most Powerful Dragons ( Battle Dragons ) would grow quicker than others however here are some hypothesis acc to GOT info :
(1) Dragons would keep growing in size as they would age .Thus even a weaker Dragon with time could match in size with Battle Dragon .
Thus it wouldn't exercise & grow bigger .
who is here after House of the Dragon
maybe drogon and other 2 child of balerion ?
you couldn't have put that recorder thing in a worse place
Watermark covers the text and many of the dragons descriptions don't even mention size of dragon
Who's here after the 2nd trailer of house of the dragon?
I hope vhagar makes an appearance
@@blissshastings1818 of course she will, she's a major player in the events of the dance. A lot of action is supposed to happen with her, near Harrenhal too, so we might see the ruins of the great keep too. And dragon fights... expect violence
@@s8theninjawarrior916 I didn’t even realise it was in the trailer before i commented that
@@blissshastings1818 the only glimpse of Vhagar in the trailer might be her foot in that one scene lol
Kind of annoying that half of the description is cut off by the stupid "DU RECORDER"
Drogon is much bigger though
@Monarch Sciences yeah I get it but they make it seem very small...
@Monarch Sciences besides, drogon is almost 3 times bigger than viserion and as you can see it seems only half
Are all these Dragons in the Series House of Dragons??
try to edit in a way so that everyone atleast can read it
