I just did that cruise a couple of weeks ago. The ship needs major updates, the service needs improvement, and the food overall was not really good, but the itinerary (port visits) made it an awesome trip. Spending two days on each island was the best part. The ship had some good excursion options (although more expensive .) I recommend booking excursions through Viator or Get Your Guide & definitely rent a car & explore the island away from the cruise port.

There’s so much to do in Kauai! It’s so scenic! Movie and tv filing location tours, mountain tubing was my favourite activity. You guys would’ve loved it!
My favorite thing about this ship is that their employees get paid a fare wage because it is the only ship registered to USA and practice USA labor laws. The only ship that does not stop in any other country.
We enjoyed that cruise several several years ago . I personally love Kauai it is my favorite island. There is alot to do in Kauai . You didn't waste your time on that fishing excursion. It was being out in the ocean . The only thing I didn't like that cruise is it is all American and they get paid a good salary. Not like the other cruise ships so they can be very rude .
This is why I follow your channel because you are so honest. Me and my cousins went on the pride of America in April of this year we were so disappointed with our trip and we paid a lot of money and our boat broke down for 2 days I can't even remember the port I agree with you Jefferson bistro was the best place that we ate at it was so good we ate there tonight but everything else was mediocre and it is a older ship so hats off to you because you are being honest and telling everybody the real deal I appreciate you and continue doing what you're doing I am proud and happy for you and Bianca😊

Suggestion: I have never been on a cruise. I am trying to talk my wife into taking a cruise. She is scared of being sea-sick the whole time. How about a time lapse video on your next cruise of a glass of water showing how bad the pitching and rolling of the ship in port and moving. Just an idea for a video for us scaredy-cats. Great video also.
It really depends on each cruise, our 2 most recent ones were amazing! No rocking at all. Another last year, it was really rocky the first day, but we enjoyed ourselves very much any way.
We will be there soon. Love this island and we stay at that beautiful resort The Royal Sonesta an eat at Dukes there. The chickens are protected that is why there are so many. See the canyon if you have time.
Aloha! I am from Kaua’i but the feral chickens are not protected, lol. There are so many because they have no predators and they can live and breed all year round. Nevertheless, they are a nuisance to😢 alot of us but it is good that you enjoyed them!
You missed the best things of Kauai. The Waimea canyon is our favourite place to visit. Just stunning! Also a helicopter tour gets you to see the north shore closely!

Bummer you did not do more in Kauai as there is so much to see. Waimea Canyon, Koloa town and the rum distillery, poipu area with beautiful beaches. Kauai is one of the wettest places on earth so it does rain a lot. Hawaii is the only state that has coffee farms and each islands coffee has its unique flavoring. It is expensive to fly between the islands so a cruise is affordable way to see a bit of each of the major islands. Oahu is the main island with a population of over 1 million people but the "outer" islands have populations in only a few hundreds of thousands, so more rural. Each island is beautiful in its own way and Hawaii is more than Waikiki.

you should try an NCL transatlantic repositioning cruise better price point for more days. less ports and more sea days so it might not be as good for blogging but its so restful
Mid way through the video you did a sit down at night to do a mini overview. I almost got the feeling that the camera was gently rocking side to side. When you are in the different ports, do you feel the ship moving?

Our first Disney Cruise out of Port Canaveral. I'll chat with my wife tonight and see if we will make the consultation. I just feel like with your expertise, you'll know exactly what we would want and how to go about doing that. Maybe I'll convince my wife and I can say "Let's go do this." lol
Completely the opposite. The PoA cruises are extremely costly for this reason. They know people will pay so it’s never cheap. FYI an inside cabin is generally 4-5k for a 1 week sailing. This price could typically get you a mini suite on any other ship. Also, the PoA has a high crew turnover rate. So getting your room serviced or getting something like extra towels takes forever. Keep in mind dev is a creator and they PAID for his cruise and everything else. Of course he’s gonna say good things about it. I personally do not recommend this cruise. I feel your money is better spent flying to each island and staying at a resort.

I made $10/hr as a bar waiter. 12-16 hour days, split into multiple shifts. No sleep, bad food, no internet.
