I think my biggest road block is figuring out which event in my life contributed the most to pursuing medicine. I have 3 major ones that I incorporated but part of me feels like I should just pick one, even though they all played a big part. Also, getting the critique has been challenging because some of the edits have taken out key or drastically changed key verbiage/things that were essential to the experience. How did you incorporate all the critique you received but still keep the essence of YOUR story?
If you can incorporate all three as a flowing story then by all means do so! I think it all comes down to making sure it’s not just a jumble or laundry list of reasons. With critiques, I take them all with a grain of salt. When it comes to wording I will read both versions and go with what is the most natural sounding and grammatically correct. I didn’t incorporate EVERY critique bc some things are just subjective. It should still sound like YOU ❤️ hope this helps!
