It’s high time govt bring in accountability and transparency in DRDO, HAL, BDL etc like departments whose projects are mostly delayed, highly overpriced and not upto the standards of Armed Forces requirements!! Private companies should also be allowed to bid against DRDO and HAL who just enjoy the benefits of being monopolistic organizations

We should go for Tejas fighter jet and go for Colaboration with India built-in transfer of engine technology.
Indian Navy is not happy with the Naval version of Tejas, they are developing TEDBF aircraft but it will take time, so for now 26 Rafale will suffice.

All aircrafts in the MRCA should be considered by the Greek Air Force, not just Rafale.
If cost is less than having joint agreement between Greece and India with france. Is is challenging and interesting. We must go for if it is good offer by France. Let see.

Again this time Indian specific requirements are different from any other country. Naval varients are altogether differents fighters in terms of Airforce versions.

Russia fighter jets ke engine bahut jyada reliable nahi hai matlab maintenance bahut jyada karna padta hai. Sath hee fuel efficient bhi nahi hote hai. Bss yahi ek problem hame Su-30 ke sath bhi jhelni pad rahi hai.
Su-57 India aur Russia jointly develop kar rahe the lekin jab India ne kuch changes recommend kiye the to suit the climate conditions of india tham Russia ne mana kiya tha, tham se hum Su-57 mai interested nahi hai, aur Su-57 ka naval version abhi thak nahi aaya hai.

Since Indigenous development is possible at present date. India should join NATO plus membership. We can get US weapons which faired fairly well in ukraine war at a cheaper price. Rather than buying overpriced rafale or russian junks. Thinking about Russia is pulling us behind. Russia will never support us against china. We should have fleets of similar family of aircrafts which will make logistics simple rather than having aircrafts from different companies.
We cant join NATO bcoz the article says if one NATO country gets attacked by non NATO then everyone will attack that particular country..now India and Russia friendship is a proven friendship in history..so if Russia attacked a NATO country then India as a NATO plus member must attack Russia.. and we cant afford that

These aircrafts that u want India to buy need codes from the US, and seeing US' tra k record and how they behave with us even today, we can't risk that. Buying those aircrafts means giving USA the power to make decision whe and where we use our own weapons. We'll become their puppet, much like the nato nations. Knowing them, they will bully us to cater to their wishes if we want to use those aircrafts.

F35 is hyped aircraft. It has been grounded so many times.
The maintenance and operational cost is too high. Eventually they will be more expensive in longer term. Also, dependence’s on France is safer than US who can back stab anytime day on not following their agenda

This Rafale deal is a temporary fix for the Indian Navy, the Navy is developing TEDBF aircraft for its future needs. So until then this Rafale will suffice the need.

Indian Navy russian Mig 29 hi use karti hai, aur uska reliability karab hai, Rafale is better. Also, France ek independent foreign policy ke sath kaam karta hai, so thoda easy hai France ke sath kaam karna India ke liye.

@@ranajitroy9938 Yeah I know but just look what's happening in india for last 15 years, unable to fulfill the minimum security requirements of IAF, just toying and blaming game done by indian government defence organisations. Defence industry is the most worst industry where there is a chance for huge corruption and this corruption even destroys the nations aspirations. So tell me how can this can be justified? IAF require 42 squadrons of flights and this proposal was planned 20 years back and still no output. The above one is just a one example only but there were many other areas which I might be lagging in information. That is the efficiency and capability of our indian government and its organisation's and still there was a lot of ambiguity when they are going to implement. So considering all factors it is better to buy from foreign companies with a good and transparent technological and cost effective negotiations.
