Great video just watched carpkings yesterday on way home from work and caught you in there! As much as I would say team trophy! You did all the hard graft in the rain while Shaun properly at shackles 😂😂
I can speak from experience here ive had plenty. I love this lake, years ago they used to chalk up the catches on the blackboard. For me this lake was carp fishing heaven. It was miles away from bristol. The trips were day only 05:00 till 23:00. We had so many red letter days back then. I mean 35 years ago. To this day this place is my fishing mecca. Back then the back lake was open. And floater heaven. My first 17 lb fish came from the waterfall inlet on a float. It saddens me as to back as to where the time has gone. Anyone who fishes here should feel the vibe. It was my Redmire. Since it was opened up to nights. It dont feel the same. We love you creedy and for the owner big love and I remember your dad fondly. 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣

@@adamroots3429 Titans🤣 we fished under 50 inch brollies on blue camp bed chairs 6 " from the ground. Creedy was and is still my fave lake. Two spotty early 20 something's with ambition. We used to make our own bait. Strawberry fish meals. Nutrabaits stuff. We used to lug our kit around the back of the island. Back then we could cast to the island from there. I lost my bitech viper on a windy day to the lake. It's prolly still buried in the silt. Great memories from us. My mate once caught the two koi's within an hour. 23:50 awsome video Hugh🎣 nice fish. what boat you use? im thinkin of buyin the new one from boatman uk The vulcun. also whats the coffee compresser used called
Coffee press is the Aero Press - the boat is the original Boatman Actor, it’s good for small waters. Shaun did a review a few years ago if you look back in the videos
Seen yours, Carpbites and Carpking....all 3 awesome kids, shame about Carpbites last to catch and Carpkings back...well in Hugh 👍👍🎣🎣....Hugh all the way 🎣🎣
Used to be awesome in the 90s ,was next to the boathouse ,when the ist thirty came out followed by the carrott... We all used to want to night it ,..be careful what you wish for as ive never been back since the booking on thing ,another wonderful place lost to commercial angling ... Good memories and stories ...
@@adamroots3429 I think fishings better now, so many anglers too interested in big fish has left all the little waters quiet! Some waters have been lost to day ticket or commercialisation but that’s just a sign of the industry growing. Living in the past is never good, so many positives have come from the modern change in angling. We need to grow the sport bigger and bigger or it could be lost to the new way of the world…
@@adamroots3429 I know what you mean, it’s true younger anglers are influenced by the ‘carp scene’ and traditional fishing is not as popular. I do think there’s anglers out there trying to bring life back into coarse fishing, some of the latest carp films have been more general fishing rather than focused on carp. It just needs the ‘cool’ factor applied to other species, but the size of carp will capture a young anglers mind more than a roach, chub and even a barbel! It’s better to have young carp anglers, than have streets full of bored youths…..FREE waters need to be introduced again, there were quite a few in my teens that you could visit on the bike, be nice if the local authorities gave them places to go!
Only used it the one but it kept the items cold for 48 hours. Had to take the frozen water out as it wasn’t melting at all in the box which seems good. 👍🏻 from me from the first outing

alright just a quick one is that the 20ltr cool box and is it any good or should i ask how long does you're items stay cool for please

Nice one Hugh, how do you rate the Plano cool box, what size is that one please
It’s the 20L one, mega bit of kit. Keeps everything nice and cold, some bits stayed frozen! 🥶

It’s just a little taster, doesn’t really show much of the content

He earned it, but do I get points for the edit? 🤷🏼♂️
At last you can shine hugh, bin shaun off. He's holding you back
Someone has to edit though 😂
You caught the fish hugh so your name i reckon. If you were both fishing a double swim/joint effort then channel name. Take the glory
Agreed. Shaun 👍
What kind of coffee is that ? I mean I’ve never seen this method of making coffee
Aero press mate. Easy to make, but is a bit of a mess after
Have a look at a Wacaco Nanopresso, that’s what I use. Less mess and it makes perfectly pressed coffee!
