Crazy how the ceo’s networth in this episode and many others is 30+ million but they only give employees 5-10k sometimes. They see it more as an advertising cost and not actually giving back to their employees.

Like most franchises you buy yourself a job and a low paying one at that. Usually when you stop by one of these places and ask to speak to the owner, they usually say "He's at work right now, and comes in at night". Big in the Philly area but they have a LOT of closed stores around the country annually. You are always putting out money. I knew a franchisee who built out a big walk in sit down location in Rhode Island that had a drive thru. They opened in May and were out of business by September. The store cost close to 250K to build out over 15 years ago. This is a walk up window type of business. Don't be fooled and tricked into buying yourself a job. Go work at your local Home Depot, Lowe's, Supermarket and make the same amount of money without laying out franchise fees and buildout costs.

Only thing I got from this episode is that Rita's has a CEO who has evidently never used a drive-through. "How will they know where to stop?" They stop at the window like tens of millions of people do every day without any special sign. What rock does Linda Chadwick live under?

Co-Owners - Translated - Lets work our balls off for 40K a year we can split and also pay for our own healthcare coverage to boot.
