Love that man! and when I watched the Documentary I was glad to hear he was just as shocked at what they were covering and unveiling. That being said, I'm sad the producers treated him that way. I'm so glad my childhood was filled with people like him instead of the later years of Nickelodeon.

Quiet on the Set stands completely on the side of those who are preyed upon by Nickelodeon execs.
But they’re ok with making it seem like someone is associated with Schneider when they didn’t work together at all. Classy.
I hope Marc’s 3pm phone call was productive and it isn’t the last we’ve heard from him concerning this.

Where is his sympathy and empathy for what the kids went through? It's all "me, me, me, me, and more about me." I used this like this guy but I have lost ALL respect for him. So what if the interview wasn't what he expected. All I see is someone trying to save his ass for what, to work with pedophiles again?!? Disgusting.

Marc ‘s interactions with us kids in the 90s is how a base my interaction with kids today. He’s right, it was the fact that he didn’t talk down to us, and included us in on the conversation. I see the appreciation and admiration from kids today because I don’t treat them like “just a dumb kid,” because these kids are far from dumb. A lot of parents say to me, “you don’t have to do that,” but to me, yes, yes I do, because it gives them the confidence to go interact with other kids.
P.S. I always wonder what are the agendas with “documentaries” like Quiet On Set. Always makes me think something’s off.

Hear's the thing Mark Summer's was revealed years ago that he was the first person not to trust Dan Schneider, and he wanted him to leave. But since Dan was Nickelodeon's golden boy, the network said no, so Mark was the 1 who left Nickelodeon. So why is being quiet now something isn't right?

A lot of journalists are not honest when it comes to this stuff or do all their investigating. Kevin Spacey, not saying he's not creepy, but in every court case he was found innocent, as the "victims" stories did not line up,
Aziz Ansari, it was a bad date. And then you had Amber Heard.

@@mrm64They should have also known ahead of time that he was not there during those years and not even interviewed him unless it was to get some prescriptive of how the station was before the BP and DS years. But no. Instead they made it seem as if he was there, and it seemed as if the producers wanted him to bad mouth the network

  • @MinifigNewsguy

I'm on the side of Marc, clearly there was a demarc point between the slimy, game shows lots of us grew up, to the Dan Schneider era (of which I grew up on his shows too) and taking over the studios to produce those sick shows in retrospect. If the producers were more honest, I think Marc would been a great subject to show his days at the network and how it went the other way to the shallow end. That itself would've told an interesting story. Lots of kids who grew up with the Schneider shows probably dont' remember Nick Arcade, Family Double Dare, etc.

She testified she had heard what he'd done but was never witness to it and it never happened to her because he knew she wasn't that way . You clearly have no idea who marc summers was .

I’m kind of confused here. Always been a Marc Summers fan through Nick, Unwrapped, and even Workaholics work. But does anyone else feel like he has a whole peanut gallery cheering for every single thing he says? It’s also so timely with the accusations and the fact that they get dismissed so quickly is weird. Let’s be clear; I don’t have any blame on Marc, but this seems like a really weird talk track of the radio show for the situation that’s happening right now…and they’re all using it kind of as a publicity opp?
