will u recommend this Zoom G6 for live-stage worship use. reviewers complain about the usability is it that hard to operate it. should I look for another unit? Have u taken it on the road and gigged with it? if yes how did it hold up and was it easy using it on stage
Hi bro, thanks for your comment. Yes, I took it and continue to actively take it to live shows. The operating mode is different from the G5n but I have no difficulties with the G6, in fact I like it. Sometimes I connect an OCD via send/return, it's all very good. But I don't play in churches. I don't need to use 3, 4 overlapping delays and reverbs so I don't know how to answer you about playing worship with this unit.

Eu nunca tive uma G11 em mãos, deve ser ótima mas não sei te responder com certeza absoluta pois com as Zoom's, às vezes acontece de termos slots livres em um preset e não conseguirmos adicionar um efeito pelo motivo do preset já estar "pesado" demais por estar usando efeitos que consomem muita memória. Eu não sei se isso rola na G11... talvez não role por ser a top de linha deles.

Hi... I like the G6 better. I don't miss the G5n having the G6 here. So I have all the signature Zoom sounds I've been using since the late 90's on a more modern platform and I still have send/return and IRs. My memory card is full of songs and backing tracks and we can access them by putting PLAY MODE in Looper. So I can do my harmony and improvisation studies with just the guitar, the G6 and headphones without having to be tied to a computer. It's a great multi-effects. 👊🎸

Hi Joshy! The G6 was the last multi-effects I bought so far in August 22, I'm still starting the work and I didn't have time to make an acoustic preset. But I would start by installing a good acoustic IR. There are great IRs for sale on the net made with Taylor, Gibson, Martin and others. After finding your IR, add some reverb and other effects you might like like chorus, a volume boost for solo moments that can be a flat EQ but with a little higher level. Thanks bro!

A delay is on the expression pedal that is controlling the volume of that first delay. In the sequence we have a second delay that I left ON all the time.

Entendi. Eu nunca tive problemas com os scroll da Zoom porque na hora H em shows ao vivo sempre prefiro usar as pedaleiras no modo preset mesmo. Até a Gt100 que no modo manual é uma maravilha sempre usei no modo preset e os CTRLs 1 e 2 com os assigns ligando/desligando efeitos dentro de cada preset ou um deles sendo tap nos timbres Lead. / Uso o modo manual mais em estúdio então não precisa de muito sapateado nem pressa pra ligar/desligar efeitos. Assim eu tento gravar um álbum inteiro usando o mesmo preamp/cab e manter a coerência dos timbres em todas as músicas do trabalho. Fiz isso na última semana usando o Vox Wah - CS3 ligado o tempo todo - OCD - RAT direto no input da Nux MG30 que tava simulando um Fender + Falantes Greenbacks + Neumann U87 Mic e então eu ia ajustando as modulações, delays e reverbs de acordo com os trechos das músicas. Toquei ontem à noite usando essa mesma configuração a noite toda e foi muito bom. Usei apenas um preset na MG30 porque ela tava com a função Scenes no footswitch CTRL e ainda ligando/desligando efeitos no footswitch externo que vem com a pedaleira. É como se fosse um modo manual, mas dessa forma que está esse set eu gosto de usar até ao vivo. *Coloquei fotos desse set no nosso Instagram durante a última semana.

Is there possible to avoid using external boss pedal?
Yes! It will be without the compressor in this preset but it is possible. Everything will work normally. 👊🎸
