    Its better to go for full time ......none of the organisations will ever give NOC .......I myself have face the same situation. .......I will be more than happy and glad to see if the organisations listens to your request maam ......well said

    The whole premise of part time PHD is that your profession will support some of the requirements of course work and research, hence its well within rights of organization to give or deny NOC.

    If i won't tell my employer that i have joined phd and finally complete PhD and apply for Assistant professor job and get selected then is there any legal problem that anybody can go against me that i have secured phd without NOC?

      The problem is that the university will not allow you to pursue a part time PhD without an NOC .

      NOC is a mandatory requirement by UGC so universities don't admit without NOC.

    I am government employee but don't want to get NOC is it possible?

      @@drritikagauba Thank you ma'am. In my case there is a n issue. I have not good percentage in MA, though I am appointed on that result basis. I did MA again in Same subject without noc. I secured good percentage, and I am eligible now.

      @@manmohanbisht5816 if you did a distance learning MA then in that you do not require an NOC. however for any full time courses or even part-time PhD NOC is compulsory.

    I have business as well working professional, i disclosed verbally to my university that I am doing both therefore I will provide relevant documents from my business but not from my employer.
    University says no only NOC from employer is needed

      Because u mentioned employer then you will have to get an NOC from them .b

      Yes coursework is compulsory

    After taking NoC, what the institute will do , if the company closes after some year. Or if I had to leave the company ?.

    Madam I am an govt.employee.I had informed and applied for noc to my organisation at the time of phd advt.After that i have been selected at phd programme at a university.my org.has not informed me anything regarding phd noc within the timeframe.As the admission deadline was going to pass I had to pay admission fees to make sure i remain in the race of pursuing phd.but now after one month of taking admission ..my org.is denying me issuing noc for phd(they haven't informed in writing till now).what should i do madam? Should i go for legal step?plz help.

      sorry to hear your problem. what your organisation did was surely very incorrect but there is no legal action you can take . moreover this is your job . so I suggest please talk to your boss and try to reason out with them / HR /Boss .

      ​@@drritikagauba boss is not helping me..because it is the fault of my university's administration.On the other hand my course work has already been started in online mode..should i go for this?.as i have paid the course work fees of 51000 rs..there is no chance to get it back as per ugc guidelines ..as it has crossed already 1 month.

    Maam,
    Does University need to take separate permission from UGC to conduct regular PhD and part time PHD.
    OR
    A permission from UGC for the regular PhD can be used for part time PhD also

    If someone's not working right now and they have high chances of working after sometime can they apply in part time phD ? ? Or if someone joins full time phd and meanwhile they get a job somewhere will they be allowed to shift?? Please answer 🙏

      you can tell the same to the university . tell them that u plan to start working again and this is a temporary break.
